- *I volunteer with a rescue and these kittens will all be fixed and adopted into loving homes when old enough :) They won't be able to breed and to contribute to the overpopulation and euthanasia of kittens because of the lack of fosterers, adopters, and resources.

It's amazing how they just know what to do with the scratcher, meanwhile we need to read instructions for everything we use! And this scratcher is so big they can all use it at the same time; 4 corners, 4 kittens!

It's so adorable watching the truckers with their 1st scratcher. RussssssssssssssTyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy knew exactly what he was doing. Charming you both so much and being so affectionate/needy that he knew he would go from a foster to a keeper. Blizzard had 1 of those scratchers but it was in the shape of a gator, plus she was going on 9 months. She was powerful enough to shred the corrugated cardboard to bits each day and night so she made sure I had vacuuming to do everyday. I'd wake to the living room looking like it was coated in make shift confetti! 🙄🐺🏳🌈🧡💯🎄💥🎈🌠😘🐟🌹🍁
I SWEAR Miles looks JUST like my RJ from 2007. We moved & he jumped out of the truck. ALL our cats were in crates & we called & called for RJ but he didn't come .... so we took the next load. I am believing he found a good home because I saw a big stripe cat HBC near my house. He either journeyed to find me or fell out of the truck. I want to drive down to adopt him. He is IDENTICAL in markings. Love ❤ 😍,

"sniff, sniff, smell, smell, look, look, listen, listen, paw, paw" they use just about every sense, probably lick and taste things too. constant investigation of anything new they encounter. intelligence in action. curiosity, playfulness, hunter instincts, all of it. but social, capable of friendship and love, needing that bond with other cats and some humans. tails up, whiskers forward, what's that new thing? :D everything is new to them. watching kittens learn, getting them to learn manners too (cats have their own cat sense of courtesy and etiquette) but human rules are a little strange. :D all so worth it.
I wonder, it must feel good to their paws to scratch their claws and trim them up that way. My cats love their scratching post. It has lasted through several cats, but is probably past ready to be replaced.

Helpful hint: We saved Amazon boxes that are a couple of inches bigger than the scratch pads all the way around and 3-4 inches tall. We glue a scratch pad to the center and give it to our kitties. That way the bits of cardboard don't get all over our carpets. The kitties love it and will even lie in the box to nap when tired of scratching. 😻
