Thank you very much! Since I reseted my Pc I didn't know why my giants editor kept chrashing when I opened mod. Then I found you and did what you said. Now it's working!!

What do you do when the editor crashes when trying to use the mesh paint tool? I selected a spruce tree and tried to use the mesh painter tool and when I click to paint, the editor just crashes to desktop?
Hi. Sometimes when the editor does that it could be a graphic driver issue with your pc or you can clear the cache in farming simulator/ giants editor file that is stored on your pc.

Didn’t solve my issue. My path is is correct, but still crashes when I attempt to open a map. I open “new mod from game” select any map and about 30 seconds later. Crash. 🤷🏻♂️
Are your graphics drivers upto date ?
@@MRPGAMINGsLIVEHOUSE they are. worked on this for hours and simply could nor find the issue. i had to delete all giants editor files and reinstall. thank you.

Hello author! Why does Giants Editor 9.0.3 not open the FS22 mod (animal pens) from the desktop?
Hi, To open a mod you have to make sure that it is unzipped first and then look for the I3d file and double click on that. It then should open the mod. If that doesn't work then you will have to go into preferences and change where the installation path is. Make sure that it is going to where you have the Farming Simulator 22 game installed.

Mine was on my c drive and did all the steps followed it made sure and when I try to import a map it still crashes any help on this
Which Version of Giants Editor are you using ? 9.0.4 or 9.0.3

@@haydenbeauchamp3369 I have noticed that the recent version of giants edtior 9.0.4 has issues at the moment with loading maps. I believe that it needs an update as there are texture issues that lead to the crash.

Try uninstalling Giants Editor and reinstalling it. There could be an issue with the files.

File location is right, but even so when i try to apply anything... it crashes
Sometimes it can be due to Giants editor. Try uninstalling it and retrying. If the issue Continues then let me know.
Ive reinstalled it probably a dozen times, tried earlier versions too. When i first installed it worked, loaded the map then froze. Ever since it just crashes whenever you try to open a file.

That is really strange, All i can suggest is that you uninstall Giants Editor and re-Install it
mines crashing after I apply the correct path.
What drive do you have the game installed on ?
confirmed everything still not working path correct there and in editor xml
@@justmegaming-y3s it dould ve caised due to a file download error when the editor was downloaded, or it could be due to giaint makong changes to configuration files and paths in giants editor updates and patches. All i can suggest is to uninstall it and reinstall it.

and yes its the newest...and all drivers are up to date
@@f.teichmann5490 When you load Giants editor, click on FILE and then select PREFERENCES and make sure that your giants editor is using the correct Game Installation Path. it uses the directory from your steam apps.

Yeah, sometimes it will give the wrong file path and that will force Giants Editor to close.

Hi, When the data comes written like that, It usually means that the error is within Giants Editor itself, It has to do with there textures that are shared. The best thing to do is uninstall Giants Editor and reinstall it and make sure that the Located files are correct as to where you have the game installed,
