Hey anyone who does this type of work...agrees with you. I am so excited to do an event and after it's done I am exhausted and done. I am an introvert as well and crafting and being a vendor is my happy place. ❤❤

I just had my first pop up yesterday and the soreness and puffiness is so real 😭😭
It was an incredible experience and I got to meet some cool artists! I hit my sales goal and even surpassed it by about $50!
The pop up was from noon to 10pm, but I was there setting up at 8 and didn’t leave until 11. It was a long long day but honestly so worth it and watching your videos has helped me so much through this process! Much love ❤

omg that's a long event lol. the longest event I've ever done was 8 hours I think. thanks for the kind words!!

It's the same for me. After an event I need one to two days and if it was super busy and long, I need three days to unwind and relax. I also use that time to catch up on sleep and watch some kdramas to take a break before starting inventory and painting for the next event. Right now, I only go to one even every other month and it is a one-day event but really want to add another event that happens every month for half the year. That one will also be a one-day event. As for the candles in the pink containers you can remelt them and change them to your new containers or gift them to people who buy a large amount of your products. Just some suggestions.

The physical and mental exhaustion is real. It's great to see how you're handling it and resetting for your next pop-up.

I love watching your videos! As a fellow 9-5er and small business owner, have you ever spoken about navigating the two? (like does your company know you own a business and they're cool with it, do you take PTO to do events, etc.) It's hard to balance and prioritize both things sometimes (esp if your main goal isn't quitting your full-time job)

It's one more thing to schlepp, but an anti fatigue mat to stand on can be super helpful on those long days on your feet (former cheesemonger/ live in 3rd floor walk-up so i get it!)

"Post Pardom Pop Up" is such a thing I imagine. Never done a pop up but they look very exhausting and you would go through such a massive workout with all the physical and mental exertion. At my age dont think I could do them. Good for you speaking about this and how you reset afterwards. Great success Pop up thou. A nice magnesium salt bath and slathering of specifically made magnesium body butter or lotion would def help your sore muscles recoup. Love your vids btw!!

Loved seeing this! Doing a show is so much fun, but it really can be draining on your social/emotional tank! A decompression routine is key 👌

I struggle with this too girly 💛
I always put off unpacking and then I only go through my stuff the night before my next market 🤦🏼‍♀

May be do a gift with certain dollar value purchase on your online store and make those 2 candles you can't sell the gift. Receive a free ........ with 100.00 purchase or whatever amount seems fair for your brand.

I just finished my last market for what might be a year. It’s bittersweet but the break will be necessary to grow my business online because I feel like I’m okay locally. I’m laying in bed and already feeling the effect. But to be fair we have big pegboards that we put together at each event. 🙃 It’s been a fun two years doing markets though.

Congrats, beautiful! I watched your vlog and it looked so exhausting but so so amazing. You should feel so proud. Are you going to stock that large mirror decal in your shop, or do you only sell the small ones? I would love to get one for my pop ups! 😍
