Ok! All of this is great, and congrats on another successful pop-up shop! To enhance your booth even more, purchase a rug to put on the ground. That'll make your booth more welcoming. Also, when you run out of items that customers inquire about, make some pre-order forms so customers can pay ahead of time and get their info and mail it out to them once you make the products! I was screaming when you said that you ran out of the Hoboken totes! Those could've been sales and just mail them out with free shipping as a courtesy. But, other than that, you're doing great!!!!
Congratulations Monica when you love what you do and the passion that you have for your business it will rub off on everyone else. Congratulations again.
Awesome, at my last pop-up, I seriously realize that I did accumulate alot of things. Requiring 3 tables and needed another helping hands. I now have to purchase 2 spots for all i have. Its so fun, i love the interactions and postive comments that come in. My customers actually ask for my business cards and they alway ask where I come from. We recently attended a parade, did a walking vending thingy and sold alot. TIP- BE POSTIVE, THINK POSITIVE. KEEP A SMILE AND SHARE A SMILE. 😂😜🤓 "Walking In Beauty Productions"
You don't even understand how happy I am for you right now, I used to be a nightwear designer and I know firsthand the highs and the lows of murch business. I'm here smiling through the whole video like an idiot good thing no one is watching ha, ha Congratulations girl!💜
This video is inspiring!!! I have a craft market coming up this Saturday, and in a way, I feel under prepared. I hand knit scarves and blankets. I sew bowl cozies and coasters (I'm learning how to sew men's neck ties). Yes, I wonder if my stuff is good enough to sell.... Yes, I wonder if what I have to sell is anything anyone would want. However, when I heard you say that you had the same notions but disregarded it.... That picked my spirits up so much!! Thank you for taking the risk to do this. Thank you for posting such videos. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! Much Love from Texas.
I love watching you in action! I’m from Jersey and didn’t realize there is so many pop up events here lol. I’m a plant store small business I wish our community had more pop up events like this. I don’t think my type of business would work for these type of events and I get so nervous even thinking about doing one!😅 proud of you and all your success!
Love the display bag! I think once well established and have a large online footprint investing in custom display pieces is worth it. Would love to see a series on from the spark of an idea to make extra money to how to get rolling, before LLC and business license. What is basically necessary and what is not.
Congratulations on the success of your business. Continued inspiring young people to used thier time wisely mostly on having side hustle. Hope one day you will have your own place or store to expand your business. God bless, stay pretty, healthy and safe.😊❤
Amazing, I just recently subscribed and really appreciate your vlogs. You have such great energy, it's a Hoboken affect, I'm sure. I want to do a pop-up for my business, it's intimidating to get over that hump that no one will buy. Seeing your experience, share the raw feedback, and see you continue to succeed is inspiring. Sending continued success vibes from CA!
I loved you, I am a mother of young artists (art design) in two weeks my middle son has his first Art Allen on his own, I am nervous but seeing your day at work, you gave me energy and positivity, I congratulate you because you do what you love I like it, it looks like you enjoy it and that is what I have taught my children to dedicate themselves to what they are passionate about and you are passionate about what you do. You won 2 new subscriptions. blessings
Very helpful! im happy at how much i learned. I in the process of making "play jewelry" before i make 14k gold plated material. I cant wait to use these tips at my first vending booth. Thank you monica! 🙂
Well deserved success. You’ve put in the time and effort and it really shows. The new fittings really made such a difference. I would definitely stop by if I were at that market. Well done.
Congratulations Monica! So happy for you. What a rewarding day! Thank you for sharing your experience and revenue with us. Your sharing and break-down are really insightful and inspiring.
I loved every part of this video ☺️🤍✨ Your set up looks beautiful, great job 👏🏽 you should definitely open a store I’m sure it would be a hit. Thanks for the great tips & inspiration !

Love how you're always smiling...thanks for sharing and congrats on your successful pop up. Would you share a link to the vertical bags you transported your displays in? Thanks!
Great job! I'm totally inspired to get out and finally sell my crafts too. I have a similar style but hawaiian. I got my business license and all that! So I'm excited
I don't take the top off the canopy when breaking it down. That way, the next time i have to set up, i can just take it out of the bag and set it up quickly.
Hi. Thanks for sharing all of this information about your popup shop. This video and your other videos have really helpful and inspiring. Can you share how you set up a cart to charge people for the items that sell. Do you use a description based list or barcodes? Thanks.

So inspiring and informative! I do have questions about what system you use for sales though? Is it just a direct card payment set up like a brick and morter store?

Great video as always! If I were you I would have something other than your branding on the kiosk since you have it other places. Shop small or shop local or even sustainably fashionable club
I’m gonna have my very first market vendor next month and I’m excited and nervous at same time 😵💫. I’m hoping that I won’t get overwhelmed and be able to make enough items for my inventory. What POS are you using by the way? Thank you!
Me and my wife just started trying to sell things that we handmake. Im glad i found this video, i will definitely be checking out the hoboken festival next time it is hosted. The only other place we know to go is Columbus Flea Market, are there any orher good places in NJ to sell homemade products?

I cant sell tote bags and especially not at those prices so I am trying to switch materials. I am leaving my pretty fabrics and switching to leather. all my ornaments are in leather too. if at first you dont succeed, try and try again. remember to make at lot of Hoboken totes!
too many people can sew themselves and prices are generally lower here. even my artisan friends from Copenhagen say they have to lower their prices when they come here.@@flowersfam3462
Suggestion: making and teach how to make elastic skirts using 3/4 inch elastic to go through waist hem, and ribbon wrap skirts using 1 to 1 1/2 inch gross grain ribbon as left side bow tie. Zig zag seam edges before sewing 1/2 to 3/4 inch seam. For wrap skirt, close left side opening by sewing 2/3 to 3/4 way up.
Use gross grain ribbon as waistline for wrap skirt which is like apron but with full coverage. Make it below knee length. For fuller figures, can gather by sewing wide stitches on top seam edge and pull thread. Then sew skirt attachment to gross grain ribbon, with opening on left side (which can be partly sewn up) and bow tie.
At big festival markets usually around $3000 - $5000, at smaller pop-ups usually $100-$800. This number totally depends on your store's price point and the area the event is located and ofcourse how your booth looks!

Sip Shop Eat might be a good market event! It's in Brooklyn in November
Congratulations, it looks like you did awesome! You are so inspirational. May I ask where you purchased your stadium display?
I don't take the top off the canopy when breaking it down. That way, the next time i have to set up, i can just take it out of the bag and set it up quickly.
Wait this is such a good idea. Does the tent still fit in the carry case with the top canopy still attached?
@@monicarazak yes it still fits in the carry case with the top still on.

Hi. Where did you get your table
What do you use for your pos
What’s the spinny thing on your booth ?
What is the difference btwn a “pop-up” and a craft faire/festival ? You mention both. Or is this kind of a re-branding of the name? Curious.
Monica do you have an Llc?
great question
Would you mind sharing how much you make at these pop ups? Curious how “successful” these events are
At big festival markets usually around $3000 - $5000, at smaller pop-ups usually $100-$800. This number totally depends on your store's price point and the area the event is located and ofcourse how your booth looks!
Where can I get these
Love your name 😊
Very nice
Where did you get your signage that is on top of your table that has your name on it?
It’s a vistaprint table runner!
5:30 the leg of that stand is on the very edge of the table and so one slight move the whole thing could collapse
I was definitely living on the edge for this pop-up lol
How did people pay? I see you use your ipad, what’s on it?
