I'm glad to see they made a Living Dead museum which looks even better than I expected. The bust and plaque was a nice tribute itself that I've seen photos of but I didn't realize they had a museum too and with the motorcycle too. I already wanted to visit before but it's just more of a reason to. I might have to consider going to one of the events they have someday. Great video!
That ticket stub at 21:10 was from the Premiere of Land of the Dead held at the Byham theater in Pittsburgh's cultural district. I have a matching ticket stub also from that premiere where I met Quentin Tarantino and Simon Pegg.
Thanks for sharing Micah! So cool that the Mall have a museum in there to celebrate the Living Dead, really great and some fantastic stuff in there. I have decided over the weekend to watch the film again as it is one of my favourites.
My hometown mall, I live 2 min behind this mall, so cool the legendary history of horror... hope it never goes away like so many Malls across America. They need to make it a national land mark so it will always remain
Cool video, one of my favorite movies. Great to see the mall hasn’t lost its liminal vibe the movie gives it. Also did the area of the Mall where the VW Scirocco was parked still exist?
Went there about two years ago- it was great. Pittsburgh is one of my favorite cities too- a hidden gem. It's changing FAST though.... gettin' a little fancier, which I kinda hate to see.
My dad was one of the zombies! We didn't make living dead weekend last month but we plan on visiting soon! I rem when they filmed i was 5, my Mom wouldn't let me go with Dad! ( I'm still pissed LOL 😭) The museum looks cool, can't wait! We still live pretty close to Monroeville Mall... Thanks for the tour...👍👻🖤🔥🧟
Neat.... what cool, historic mall... hopefully, it will never close... malls are not doing as well as they used to..... like when you were doing zombie reenactment on escalator.., a guy was trying to go up.... he stopped and said oh well I need to go up....don't care about no zombie.... ha ha ha..liked how you can still match up a ton of scenes...museum inside mall looked awesome..... thanks for sharing ....take care.....have a great day....thanks......👍👍👍👍👍

I’m here for the guy on the escalator at the beginning of the video. He’s so unbothered
Hahah
You have no idea how often people act like zombies around the mall 😂
We Pittsburghers are so unfazed 😅
I'm so jealous. That was great!

Appreciate it!
Great video Micah.
Had to watch the original and 2004 version after this
These two dead movie videos have been a favorite of mine covering two of my favorite zombie films
I was 8 when my father took me to see this movie. Scared the **** out of me. To this day, my favorite horror movie 👍 Loved the 2004 remake as well.

I'm going there this Saturday. I hope the museum is open. I have been doing a little research, and it seems like they keep weird hours.

The stores were better back then
You are a living, breathing example of why cousins shouldn't mate.
Got me! Biggest burn of my life. Darn. I’ll quit now.
