I love the fact that Alchemist collaborates with a lot of underground guys like Boldy James before he blew up, or guys like MIKE and WIKI and Billy Woods and Elucid and then would do a beat for Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean.
I don't know if anyone will find this interesting but when Alchemist was with Scott Caan in the group, the Whooliganz, their only music video had Evidence of Dilated Peoples doing the intro and Shifty Shellshok of Crazytown also on the video. You know the guy from the song "butterfly", that had the lyrics "come come my lady song". They were all teenagers then.
it's fantastic how Alchemist has been consistent for that long period and how he has managed to create music for the greatest artists of several generations. thanks for illustrating the story!
Mann folks just don't understand the difference between Al and these guys now, Al made music from what HE felt like was real music, not some other sound that's floating throughout hip hop now. One of one...truly
He’s one of my FAV producers and I just LOVE how he continues to transform and stay relevant through the decades. Mobb Deep, Hit Boy, Blu, The Lox, Gibbs, Larry June…. This man is a legend! He is not only a permanent invite to the cookouts he’s literally our soundtrack!❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Those artists you listed lit a thought in my head. Al doesn't really favour a region- he'll work with people from everywhere and produce a cohesive project. The soundtrack to a few era's! 🫡💪🏿🤙🏾
I remember as a kid bumping that cypress hill IV album on cassette not knowing alchemist was on the boards too… n then bumping murder muzik by mob deep on cd not knowing one of my fav tracks was produced by him… crazy ..dude is one of the 🐐 fsure
Yo, your content should be the mainstream at this point! Im all the way in Tokyo Japan and still had Killa Priest, Gza and Ghostface on my channel a few months ago! Its dope u cover Roc Marci, I hollar at Knowledge the Pirate all the time. lol Some of yall know who I am.. shhhh!!

It’s great to see someone so talented remain so humble.
