+Ayla Williams Kikyo gets way too much hate she went through alot of pain and suffering and died painfully but she was able to be with InuYasha and finally find peace Imagine coming after 50 years to find the man you loved with someone else wouldn't you act similarly?
Ugh, this was played when Kikyo died. The episode where I cried so much. That episode was also the most heartbreaking and painful episode I'd ever watched in Inuyasha's series.
Gray Leprechaun I saw that episode of the Final Act. And yes,it was very sad. For Inuyasha to shed tears like that, tells me he may be Half Human, but whatever else he may be, this proves he is not Demon, and other than the Image humans made him out to be wasn't even true. Real Demons wouldn't hesitate to kill.
I feel this theme as the closure of the whole story. And not like a sad ending, like a peaceful end. That moment of the story is really touching for me, because I started watching Inuyasha when I was 5 years old. I never watched the end of the anime because it wasn't done. Were a lot of years watching it over and over again on TV never knowing how it was going to end. Like a scar that never heals. I always loved Kikyo's character and her story...and finally I saw the end at 15 years old. I cried a lot, but it was beautiful :') Inuyasha it's my childhood and my adolescence
"Kaede" "Aneue!" "You've suffered a lot because of me..." "That's not..!" "I'm really sorry" "ANEUE!!" The way Kaede reaches out for Kikyo always breaks me down to tears.
It was nice hearing Dearest in that moment... so rightfully 'brought back' for both in and out of universe nostalgia and it just... accompanied the dialogue and scene so well.

The best anime crying I've ever heard, myself. It sounded like he was straight up ugly-crying right in the booth. She did come first, and their heartbreak, separation, and death were all mistakes to begin with. I think that's the deepest tragedy of the series.... That, despite the most positive outcome possible after the fact, Naraku still successfully destroyed a beautiful love that would have most likely lasted forever.
The first time i heard this song was on ep 59 and in that episode the only thing i remember is that Sango said this " There isn't a father in the world who wouldn't wish for his daughter's happiness."
This one always hits me in the heart the most. Inuyasha and Cowboy Bebop were the first 2 animes i ever saw.Back in 1998,i'm 36 now LOL those times were the best
the very first anime i watched, and also the very first anime that taught me how to truly care/love others, what death is, how you value your lives and choices you make during your lives, how grateful to live ... ah i was lucky to watch inuyasha as my very first anime
Kikyo’s end was a beautiful conclusion to her story. She was Inuyasha’s first love, and he was hers. It wasn’t meant to be, but it was enough. I have to say though that even though her story is deeply tragic, I never found her personality remarkable. (Her death is when her character peaked for me. Kudos to Rumiko Takahashi) In fact, to me as a kid, she was the pale shadow besides Kagome, who was bright, lively and kind. For a time, I wasn't sure who Inuyasha would end up 'choosing' but the way Kagome overcame doubt and 'unrequited' love and eventually seeing herself as equal to Kikyo was just amazing to me. I have always looked up to her. In the end, it has always been Kagome for me. And for Inuyasha.
Trường Ca Hành in a way I agree but I’m a different sense. Kikyo spent most of her life trying to avoid emotion as part of her duty to preserve her powers and to safeguard the jewel. She died the moment that guard fell when she allowed herself to fall in love and when she was resurrected she maintained that guard and persona so that she wouldn’t become “weak”. Kagome was allowed to show her emotions and had no duty to be dependent on which was her luck. Kikyo’s predictament is more tragic. She was never really allowed to be human or be herself , but in those moments with inuyasha. I think her character is well written
Solaka Thomas, actually,Naraku didn't care about Kagura and Kanna."Disposable" would be a word he'd think of.They both were afraid of what he could do to them if they ever disobeyed just 1 order,so I don't think any of it was their fault.
Tbh, I ship Naraku/Onigumo with Kikyo a bit. He was twisted and cruel, but he traded his soul to demons just to be able to be with Kikyo, to help her. Unfortunately, both of their fates were sad and tragic, as they end up trying to kill each other at the end. But I can't blame Onigumo, even Inuyasha couldn't withstand the evil of the tainted Sacred Jewel Shard, let alone be consumed by a bunch of demons and imprisoned. Inuyasha was able to beat the evil of the tainted Sacred Jewel thanks to the " Priestess" Kagome, and Onigumo was able to slightly make Naraku " love " and fear Kikyo. Good thing that they both found a peaceful ending. It was a pitiful demise, yes, but they both were happy. Kikyo became an ordinary woman, her soul was freed and Naraku's was purified. Therefore, if their fates still cross, their souls may be able to find each other at the end of the netherworld. Either way, they're together.
I had to fight tears when kikyo died. Many people hate her, and, I mean, she’s not my favorite either, but to see inuyasha so sad, it just makes ME sad. The only other time he cried, was when he thought kagome(And miroku And sango) was going to die, and all he did was shed a tear. But seeing him as sad as this... it just.. I can’t bear it 🥺

kikyo desired two things: to become an ordinary woman. and to be with inyuasha . also people please stop saying she loved the human inyuasha . she loved for who he his. just like kagome
She wanted to be a normal woman and stop fighting. She wanted InuYasha to become human so he could stop fighting other demons. They could live as normal mortals together and no longer have to continue their duties and embrace life together. How else could that show how much she loved him?
Solaka Thomas, sorry that you think that.Forgive me for saying this;but don't you realize kikyo wanted Inuyasha to leap into hell with her? And don't forget that time when Inuyasha was embracing her,she was trying to push him away, and she drew a hidden dagger from her sleeve! That can't be love.If someone threatened you,how would you feel?

Unlike some fans, I like Kagome very much but... I can't, I simply cannot deny it, Kikyo [along with Sesshomaru (and Moroha from Yashahime)] are the characters I like the most in the series.
I wasn’t old enough to watch the anime when it ran but I recently discovered it and it is without hesitation a very very good one. I love the soundtrack as well. It is quite funny because the track Dearest in its general theme sounds a lot like «I will always love you » as sung by Whitney Houston 🙂

I wish Inuyasha and Kikyo could've been together. but Inuyasha meeting Kagome was fated to be!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😡😡it's so good!!!! This series made me cry soooo much !
An adaptation of the traditional woman's work song known as the "Spinning Song". The covers of this song has diverged to be less and less depressing over the years, at least in the lyrics, and focusing more on the songs beauty rather than it's melancholy but the geist of the work song is that there are many problems in this world for which we are powerless to change so we are carried through our lives and can only work hard (spinning thread), and suffer. When funeral arrangements were being made for my mother, while family members were debating what Elvis song my mother liked, I recommended an instrumental of the "Spinning Song" and that's what we wound up doing. The song describes a life of hardship and suffering as being our fate.
In the earlier part of the anime, this bgm was quite nothing. Following the final demise of Kikyo, we finally changed what we think after listened to it.
How nice would it be, if we could only Throw away the things, meaningless to you and me I'd keep every piece of important memories Reality is cruel, there's no choice for me to choose It's at times like these When it's hard to move I see you laugh away It happens every time When I close my eyes Ah~ I swear until the day I die Our promise will last for eternity Smile, dearest, your happiness you see, I want to keep it always with me The people in our world Are so heavy with greif They try hard to forget It never works that way For every little thing that I truly love And you who loves me too I will do it all, do all that I can... Ah~ those days were so long, long ago When each touch felt so clusmy and new We've gone so far from where we have been The pain we feel now a scar that's fading Ah~ I swear until the day I die Our promise will last for eternity Smile, dearest, your happiness you see, I want to keep it always with me Ah~ those days were so long, long ago When each touch felt so clumsy and new We've gone so far from where we have been Here we are love, together at the end.
Since sends shivers down one by one through the body, that is so sad...amazing what may cause music =( but still a beautiful melody
Kikyo was a beautifully tragic soul, was she my favorite? Not at all but I did love her character and and understood her on a level which made me so happy she finally found true peace. She was Inuyasha's first love but I don't agree she was his true love, it was more of a crush or blossoming love on each other. But what made their love look so passionate is because of the tragedy that was caused by Naraku and his ambition for the jewel and Inuyasha's guilt for Kikyo being killed. I feel that Inuyasha was destined for Kagome and she is his TRUE love, I love both the characters of Kagome and Kikyo and yes they share the same soul but they was two very different people with their own life and personalities and feelings that made them both two vastly unique individuals to each other.
...I sound heartless in this whole comment section when I didn't shed a tear or crack my voice when I saw Kikyo die. The only episode I almost cried on was episode 12. :( Edit: Umm... second time through, her death was heartbreaking...
My boyfriend (who is not at all into anime, but is a film expert) said, during this scene, that it sounded like the song Unchained Melody from the final scene in Ghost. Specifically beginning at 1:20. God dammit, HE'S RIGHT!! He thought it was probably intentional. I have doubts, but considering the coincidences between the two plots and the timing of that section of music and visuals (up toward the sky as the beloved moves on), it's possible. He did point out that the Japanese love their ghosts, which is true. Thoughts? He also said the track Dead Soul reminded him of director Kurosawa's works. That's one of my favorite tracks because it's so beautifully eerie, so I should definitely give Kurosawa's films a try.
It's most likely a coincidence. After all, this is the instrumental version of the "Dearest" ending song. And those songs are not usually made for the show, they are just later set up because they have some common theme. In music is not all that uncommon for a few isolated notes to match, like they do here. But the whole thing is unique for sure.
I wish I could experience this. I never will. My life is over. I'll be gone soon. I just wish someone could of loved me. I wish I could of loved someone. But it's over now. No use to fret over the inevitable. But I would give anything to feel something like this. If only once...

I wish you could understand, but you can't. And I don't want you too. This is my life. And it's over. Please don't try and and understand. My life is a bitch, and you know nothing about her... Thanks..
+Mr. Hanky i wasnt commenting to give you false hope. wouldnt it be nice to have someone understand. i can understand if you tell me what it is that makes you feel so empty. surely people cant help everyone and you say i wont understand you. but did you try?
Marie Galla No, I didn't. And I'm not going to. My pain is my pain. And I deal with it on my own. As I said, I am very appreciative of your kindness. But at this point. Nobody can help me but myself, and I'm working on it...

It never works that way
For every little thing that I truly love
And you who loves me too
I will do it all, do all that I can...
Ah~ those days were so long, long ago
When each touch felt so clusmy and new
We've gone so far from where we have been
The pain we feel now a scar that's fading
Ah~ I swear until the day I die
Our promise will last for eternity
Smile, dearest, your happiness you see,
I want to keep it always with me
Ah~ those days were so long, long ago
When each touch felt so clumsy and new
We've gone so far from where we have been
Here we are love, together at the end.

kikyo best girl.
Since sends shivers down one by one through the body, that is so sad...amazing what may cause music =( but still a beautiful melody

THE FEELS
Querida Kikyo :c
When i listening this song cry
Same..😢😭
No quería que kikyo siguiera sufriendo... Quería protegerla por siempre 🥺🥺🥺🥺
THIS FUCKING SONG! THE FEELS! THE FEELS ARE REAL!
I feel that Inuyasha was destined for Kagome and she is his TRUE love, I love both the characters of Kagome and Kikyo and yes they share the same soul but they was two very different people with their own life and personalities and feelings that made them both two vastly unique individuals to each other.
lovely
very sad 😢💔♥
Kikyo😢😢
...I sound heartless in this whole comment section when I didn't shed a tear or crack my voice when I saw Kikyo die. The only episode I almost cried on was episode 12. :(
Edit: Umm... second time through, her death was heartbreaking...
Cathy Le awww it's okay I usually don't cry when most people do 😂

@@enzomartinez8083 yes kkkkk
No debiste haber muerto Kikio
someone sample this plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
I wish I could experience this. I never will. My life is over. I'll be gone soon. I just wish someone could of loved me. I wish I could of loved someone. But it's over now. No use to fret over the inevitable. But I would give anything to feel something like this. If only once...
+Mr. Hanky if you really give up already you do so to early. never lose the light of hope! it shines always you just have to see it. everything happens for a reason
Marie Galla I appreciate your advice. But I wasn't commenting in hope of sympathy. I was just saying my goodbyes. It's not too early for me, it's far too late.
+Mr. Hanky im glad to hear that you are working on it. if you change your mind just write me. i am here to listen if you need someone.
