when you say right bumper than down on the right stick, did you mean down on the left stick to bring your whole defense down?
Two questions about this play one is how do I flip my play before I actually get on the field second is when I assigned that linebacker to blitz and I go off of him to move the other linebacker behind him. The one I signed the blitz moves back to position.
Instead of going straight through the a gap, my guys trying to loop around and it's allowing the rg to block the dt and the center picks up the blitzer. Only way I've got it to work is blitz both lbs and hover over the rg

I've been trying this in practice and it's playing pretty good coverage but it's not getting instant pressure

I can see how this defense is affective as you can have a safety off the edge unlike the other nickel 33 defense I've been running out of the chiefs playbook. I can already tell that this will be my new base defense. I'm guessing you don't recommend having a safety as that 4th linebackers spot on the d line?

This doesn’t seem to be working. Long time follower and madden player so I’m sure I’m doing the set up right. The center is reacting correctly. Mini patch I’m not aware of?
I think it got patched out, the center hands off the d-tackle to the guard whenever I use it and the linebacker gets picked up.

Been running this defense and oh my lord! Just listen to this stat line. 50 yards rushing 8 yards passing. Two interceptions one forced fumble, a fumble recovery for a touchdown, a safety, and a WHOPPING 8.5 SACKS!
This defense definitely brings pressure to the quarterback. My last three games I’ve played in H2H MUT I’ve won by at least 2 tuddies. I’m an average madden player as well. I’m 30 games above being at a .500 average win/loss ratio. But with this defense I can see myself winning a lot more games and losing a lot less. Thank you for this video.
Are you getting beat by routes to the outside?? How do you stop that
This is a MUT defense not regs or franchise. This is what people don’t understand. It only works to a high level when all your players are basically 99. Way too much gets open and a good opponent will pick you a part in regs.
Been running this defense since madden 18 🤫
At first I had trouble guarding corner routes but it was because I didn't use match. Once I used match my corner on the outside started making plays on it, and my curl flat started playing it. I love that linebacker on the line because I drop him into a hard flat and pick off zig routes👍
How do I setup match?

What's so bad about this video now since the tournament ended their has at least been 20 to 30 videos that I've seen. However now there's a counter. But I have recently come up with alternate set up with a better disguise then lining up right behind the Blitzer also also I've been using 33 odd as well as a future meta 3 4 over ed for a yr also since it's out there I'm going to go ahead and give you a good extra coverage on a four-man and what it does sometimes it comes in free sometimes it's a quick disengage the outside linebacker that's blitzing put them on a bluff Blitz where he takes a step or two in and goes into coverage and you still get great pressure cuz it stalls the left tackle

Facts, this doesn’t work at all the lb just moves back and gets picked up by the center
You got to leave a gap at least 5cm away from the center, don’t get to close to him

You just switch to that linebacker, push a or x on PlayStation and then push your right stick down to blitz
I can't get it to work IN game, works in practice mode just fine. But in game, while doing the set up the blitzing LB always moves back into his original position when I click off. Sucks because it would be a brutal blitz. 🤷♂️

You have to stay on the lb that's blitzing and dont do anything once the ball hikes. You'll see him run through the gap. If he gets stopped then take back control and get into coverage. Only way I find it works. Once the blitzer is blocked then it's just a regular coverage play. Cover 2 is best for when you get it to work and they have to do a quick dump off.
What team had the 3-3 odd defense?
In the video it says that 3-3 odd is in the ravens, raiders, Vikings, patriots and giants playbook

Having fatigued players after every play is so annoying. How is that a good change? Literally after the opening kickoff I have to sub out my safeties.

Thanks I didnt really catch much. I just wanted to show how his blitz was universal and worked regardless of coverage so people could add it to their scheme if they had been using this defense with me

There is no such thing as a meta. Every offense can be stopped you just need to know how to stop it. No offensive play is unstoppable. There is no skill when using abilities. It’s not real football. Doing the same play over and over is ridiculous. They don’t even do that in real life. You can even get pressure on anybody because the blitz is horrible. If people know that you are blitzing they will just throw it short. I hope College football isn’t like Madden.
Anything can be good if u know how to audible. These pro players can audible all their players within seconds.
