We were there the last week of December. We are going back this year the week before Christmas with antelope and deer tags.

@@kirkoutdoors8806 My brother-in-law and I hunted the mckelvy national forest And riffle season
@@joshhull1638 I believe we were in the Mckelvy as well. We are going back towards the end of December with antelope tags for the box buete east unit. Doesn’t look like there is much public land there at all but we will hunt what there is.
Great video! I've always wanted to hunt mule deer and Nebraska is the most affordable state. Would you recommend this trip to a beginner?
