- Selestine left Kenya for Saudi Arabia in search for greener pastures but returned with scars.
The 28 year old said that she struggled so much in the gulf country after her boss husband's turned on her.
She is grateful that her boss' son saved her life.
She shares her story here with us on TUKO.

I'm not a Kenyan and have not heard of any of my country men and women from my country going for slavery to Saudi Arabia in the name of greener pastures, but I would suggest that the agencies that are offering employment and sending vulnerable young African women and young men to Arab countries be banned from doing that by African governments. I cannot imagine myself going through that kind of horrific experience I would do the unthinkable to them
The issue is one with clear fractures but non the less very complex geopolitically with bilateral aspects which we will continue to shed light on for in-depth comprehension.

It is true story.
At 28min 15 seconds, she mentions the nasty comments she got when she called the Kenyan Embassy. I am disgusted and concerned. Tuko Team, kindly confirm you followed up after this comment and requested an investigation on her behalf as the person she spoke to should have helped her. It pains me to think this person might have done the same to other needy kenyans at their time of need!
That embassy employee needs to be named, shamed and retrenched
