@1:04:10 A great positional player does not blindly follow universal positional rules. Magnus wants to keep blacks bad Knight on h5 as long as possible, HOWEVER this is not at the expense of black getting some counter play against his excellent Bishop on e5.
Positional chess at high level is akin to comparing apples and oranges, and making an accurate determination.

Magnus was born to play chess, understands things so well. Pichot moves a pawn and Magnus says I think that was wrong, believe that weakens his position. Then way ahead he says I'll will be a pawn up and I'm like huh, then he ends up a pawn! How many hours a day do I have to play to be able to see these things, not even as fast as Magnus but just to see them? I am about a 1400-1500 now. I see the comments , and I am what? Magnus was bound to lose some games with a winning probability of about 0.8. The sample of games is also small. Even so winning 8, out of 11 is pretty close to his winning probability based on the difference in Elo with Pichot. Against players like Ding Liren everyone is obssessed see Magnus play , Magnus's winning probabilities are a little over .5, meaning he will win with a very narrow difference, and a great sample of games needed for this to be seen. The reason why he was easily winning games in previous banter blitz tourneys, against 2800+ players , is because they were not really 2800+ players.
