I feel like if Elsa did end up being a villain, it would become a good representation of people who have been holding in their secrets so long until it finally bursts out of them. Another really good example of it is the Obscurus from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Phương Nguyễn No it wouldn't, it would be horrible to wreck one of the most memorable and relatable characters ever made. The way Elsa turned out is perfect.
FriendlyCrooc I agree with you but it would still kinda work. I'm not trying to be mean. It's just my humble opinion and thought. I'm willing to hear others. I get what you mean by making her relatable which is true. If they did make her into a villain then imagine her being reformed through realization that her only love one (her sister) will always be there and it will show how strong a sister bond can be. In fact I think it makes her a tragic character or someone who makes rational or haste desicions. Not necessarily a villain at all, but more likely to develop negative thoughts all because of her isolation. It does still make Elsa relatable bc despite how built up our emotions can be, there is always still a hint of love from those who care for you. In reality there are folks who have to go through heavy issues and most often what breaks the spell is seeing a love one get hurt by their own devices or means. If Elsa ends up hurting her sister then the ending will be the same. It will show that despite all the built up hatred, she wont and never will forget the love from her sister and she will be quite protective around her. She is her only family. But the fears and nightmares of hurting her sister will come back; which will make her run away and foreshadow. But that might be consider too dark and too realistic for a cgi cartoon... Xmx They still manage to make Elsa a good character to relate with a positive note of being who you really are and you should never hide it. It does come with great control but it is controlled by you and only you. No one else.
A Grube I think it was changed because they had a better perspective. They thought it would make more sense if she was lonely and afraid instead of evil. The song just helped them realise that.
@@pizzaroneee Eh idk. Let it go could make for a sympathetic anti-hero or morally ambiguous character as well. She would be acting in her own interest and feel free in her isolation but still be a sympathetic character with a powerful song.

I like the idea of let it go. It kinda shows how Elsa saw herself as a monster, a terrible monster who hurts anyone she touches because that's what her parents made her believe. But in let it go she shows everyone that she went from thinking she was a monster, to showing that she accepts who she is and she wasn't the enemy. But after seeing Anna she went back and started to doubt herself again. And another thing I loved from the movie was that, Anna didn't need true loves kiss. Love can come in many different ways, sibling love, mother love, father love, love love, friend love.
Some people might prefer how Elsa was originally ment to be, but I prefer her just the way she is. She is very selfless and caring, and by far Disney's most complex character. I wouldn't change anything about her.☺
Thank you. I love Elsa too. Elsa is great. Who can love Elsa. I am glad she is not the villain. I prefer Elsa as a hero and a villain. I want Ingrid from Once a pond a time to come back and villain instead of Hans and Elsa. Trust me I would kill them if they Elsa the bad guy.

I’m crying. Frozen is like, a childhood memory I will never forget. When I am older and remember being a kid, I will remember frozen is the reason of my art, my passion of music, songs. And I really will never forget.
Think about it, Elsa's miserable life is all her psycho father's fault. Seriously, do you really think that she would learn to control her powers by feeling so utterly like a monster for these powers alone AND for not seeing her sister for so long?? AND NEVER SEEING SUNLIGHT FOR AT LEAST 10 FREAKING YEARS!!!! GIVE IT UP FOR THE WORST PARENTS EVER, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!
Parents include everybody's parents. Not just Disney princesses. While mental abuse is quite bad, and can be just as bad as physical abuse, this isn't as bad as it could be. At least she isn't constantly told that she's a worthless human being. Though, that is probably how she could have felt.
I think it's utterly abusive of Elsa's father to forbid Elsa from seeing sleeping in the same bedroom as Anna and not evern allowing her to go outside. It's emotional abuse, I say. That's why I say her father is a psycho. I know he meant well, but he's the one responsible for creating shame in Elsa's heart for her powers.

I can definitely see how Let It Go could’ve been a villain song. Elsa deciding to shroud the land with her ice storm and never stop it, hence “let the storm rage on, the cold never bothered me anyway”, this becoming an evil snow queen of sorts. That would have been pretty badass tbh.
Man, Elsa being a villain would've been the best thing ever. It would have been so different and interesting because Anna is trying to find the goodness in her sister she once knew, but I guess Disney thought different haha
Seriously this song could have still been a villain song if they just changed the tone of it...but they decided to rewrite the whole movie instead....???
Lena Perlic literally all you needed to do was maybe swap out heaven knows for “hell knows. @@phylasvell that's what I'm saying! And the song was made before the storyboard for it,so they didnt even have to bother with changing Elsa body language becuase it would have been already made that way if they had just changed the songs tone and very little lines...

My issue with it is that the whole movie could've been solved earlier if Elsa aimed lower at the start and hit Anna. This would've led to the sisterly hug of true love and ended the film 5 minutes in.
Mortimer Zabi Um, not really. Elsa is 8yrs old and her magic instinctively came out in a panic at the thought of Anna (5yrs old) jumping without any assured safety. Yes, she landed in snow anyway but she was unconscious and became laxed when she landed instead of tensing and causing damage to herself. And even if she did aim carefully - we would only get a movie about verbally abusive parents trying to tell Elsa to stop using her magic and hid it because it wasn't normal and trying their best to break up Anna and Elsa's friendship for 10 long years and Hans would be frozen in the first 5 seconds of Elsa meeting him because he's cozying up to her baby sister.
as good storytelling as it would have been, I think Disney dodged a bullet by having one of their most independent and strong female characters not be the bad guy.
I would have liked it better if she had been raised her whole life being raised and feeling like a burden, and after everything she's angry and upset but happy and feels powerful that she can do this on her own. I would have liked the idea of Anna staying, taking over, and hans sending an army to kill Elsa, winter getting set in in Erendale. She could show what holding back emotions and your true self would be like. I feel they still could have had Anna help Elsa be redeemed, and I feel it could have been an amazing story if done right. I would honestly have liked them to cut a few of the forgettable songs, and the dumb characters (honestly, I fucking hated Olaf, and I tolerated the reindeer.)
I think the problem is that after let it go she goes straight back to being afraid again after, which I get, it makes sense, I just wish her character had more to do than ‘be afraid, let it go, be afraid again’. Esp since let it go is such an empowering song, it’s a shame it feels just a little isolated from the rest of the film. I believe the stage production has a let it go reprise, I wish the film had one too
while i much prefer the route they took with frozen in the final product i wouldve loved to hear their sister song in the movie as that just portrays what having a sister is like perfectly
I honestly think it would have been more interesting if elsa was a villain, but she still sang let it go. Disney movies always make their evil characters look like horrible heartless people, when really in reality villains always have a story behind them. let it go would let audiences empathize with the villain, which has never been/rarely done in disney movies.

I believe the stage production has a let it go reprise, I wish the film had one too
Of course, Elsa and Anna are my favorite.
disney animted classic...excuse me?????
Raben Katze same
STF
Its on the Disney Classics collection
while i much prefer the route they took with frozen in the final product i wouldve loved to hear their sister song in the movie as that just portrays what having a sister is like perfectly
2:57 Jennifer Lee is a mood
What Elsa’s parents did to her is like people preparing for Coronavirus
The revelation that Let it Go started one of the biggest twists ever.
I honestly think it would have been more interesting if elsa was a villain, but she still sang let it go. Disney movies always make their evil characters look like horrible heartless people, when really in reality villains always have a story behind them. let it go would let audiences empathize with the villain, which has never been/rarely done in disney movies.
I wanna see the version where elsa is an evil queen
In the beginning of video, in sketch she looked like Cassandra..
I think frozen would have been Better if Elsa was a villain.
I think the same
it would've made the ending so much more powerful
It would be Intresting if Elsa is a Villain
I wish the movie was animated like the storyboard
I love india manzuel so much
Seee! They wrote the song. I hate when people say Demi Lavato wrote it.
I want to see the rebellious queen Elsa. I want to know what the ending would be like if Elsa turned evil. Aren’t you curious too?
Elsa is interesting character.
Elsa: TAKE ME FOR WHAT I AMMMMM WHOOOO I WAS MEANT TO BE! Aaaand if you give a damn. Take me baby! Or leave me!
Anna: ._. Elsa no.
RENNNNNT
I prefer villain Elsa
Esteicy Saavedra ++
Same.
I was not expecting that # shocked
so,all the people who thought elsa would be better as a villain..
*frozen 2 wouldnt exist*
The final version of Elsa is more realistic and better.
So this iconic song, which will be present for decades or even centuries was written in 2 days? Just wow
okay guys hear me out... a live action frozen where elsa is the bad guy and they made it as frozen was supose to be.
Personally, I really like the idea of evil Elsa. It makes a lot of sense and I would've given Elsa much more respect as a character in the first movie
Honestly I'd say that Elsa is an Anti-Hero. Pretty much meaning half hero, half villain. :)
Elsa
wait a minute why am i even watching something from frozen
wait WHY AM I EVEN IN THE COMMENT SECTION!!!!!!!!??????????
oh fuck it.......
LET IT GO !!!!!!!!!!!!
LET IT GO !!!!!!!!!!!!

Odd Squad Agent Trinity Animations
Yes she is so cute she can't be villain ever
Would be nice if they made a movie about a villain.
I would like a different Frozen where Elsa's the villain, like an alternate ending.
LOL this song MADE this movie
Elsa would've been better off as a villain in my opinion
Laurel Cook me too.
