Tbh, I always saw Frisk and Sans' relationship as a brother-sister/sibling bond. They are, after all, the only ones eachother can really talk to about all the stuff with the Timelines and Resets and Genocides, and not every close bond has to be romantic.

same. i recently bought Undertale for fun just to play it when im bored, and all the nostalgia just slapped me in the face.
Undertale has been such a big part of my life, and it still has my favorite memories of someone really special to me. They're gone now, and have been for 3 years.

Well, maybe if you don't go in blind, you know that. When I first saw Papyrus, like for the first time EVER, I genuinely thought he would kill Frisk and take them to Undyne, because Sans refers to him as a *"*human hunting fanatic."* Or, as my sister says "fanactic". But anyway. Still, Papyrus would probably give his own SOUL before somebody died. He's the epitome of peacekeeper. It's kind of sad now. I'm remembering Disbelief!Papyrus now and wondering just _how much_ everything crushed him. (Assuming you know about D!P?)
This is a vocal cover that I have cherished and will continue to do so for quite a lone while. This clicks with me and my emotions on a whole other level that I can't begin to describe with words. It also helps that Undertale as a game has grown on me so much, so that's a plus.. This might get lost in an ocean of appreciation, but.. Shine on, you crazy diamond...

Ah 7 years ago kinda feel old I missed being a hardcore Undertale fan
I like how there's a feeling of (platonic) intimacy with this, particularly from the sense that there's so much context the audience is missing here that the two of them are on the same page about. The crazy thing is that we *do* know the context from the game-- the timeline resets, one's sins in other timelines, how one can't tell everyone about this-- but the lyrics and their delivery makes it seems like there's more. Whenever they say "you," i feel like they're using the impersonal "you" as if they're saying the ways they view life even though they're referencing actual events. Like Frisk's lines about "company behind locked doors" and "promises you don't want" is straight-up about Sans' relationship with Toriel, but Frisk being the one to say it and saying it so vaguely made me not make the connection to Toriel immediately. This song is written so well✨

I've known this song for 3 years now and sang it at night. I sing it late in the evening leaning on my balcony posing in the dark. So the winter cold invades my room, it lands on my body, my arms, legs and head. It frigors me but freezes the morbid and depressive ideas that gnaw a soul and a suffering heart. This cold is particular, it is the cold that we observe through the window one morning when we do nothing. Then lighting our fireplace or wood stove in front of the fire that heats our body the saving fire that burns the bad spirits disturbing the suffering soul. This fire is a fire of relaxation. And then we start to think and if I ' had to endure this deadly cold that is contained by the shield that constitutes our insulating walls and windows ... And we think, think and rethink without finding the appropriate phrase or word.In the end, we give up, telling ourselves why ask ourselves such a question because I do not feel this pernicious cold. We are well protected behind our walls. But so that I have the chance to warm myself up how many people have not enjoyed my luck and are in the street undergoing the repeated assaults of 'perverted cold.Do you know what i mean ?More personally, this song makes me nostalgic for a time that is no longer ... A time gone by the seasons under the cruel and neutral gaze of time flowing without stopping, like when you look at the river near home you sink you can contemplate it but the more you look at it the more the cold and brilliant water changes. 1:16 now i have ben thinking about this line, and i figured out it might be a talk about the resets, there might have ben A TRUE RESET before they even began singing this because after that true reset frisk might have started pacifist AGAIN, a true reset would mean a little while before the human falls down underground, i think sans made that promise right before frisk fell down the underground, and we all know that frisk(the player),flowey and sans are the only ones to know about resets and saves, but now wait a minute. If this was a true reset sans would not remember it like he would remember an average reset, now now if you are confused do not worry let's take this further, as you know gaster is sans's dad, now you are asking why i am mixing gaster with this let me tell you why. In gaster's message, at the end he says you two, people speculate that sans and papyrus are two halfes of gaster, now back to the true reset, if sans was one piece of gaster he would have more memory space (my opinion) he would then remember every single timeline and reset/true reset, that there buddy is the mysteries of undertale.
