I did this and it worked great. I wasn't getting good suction when I would connect it to the inlet hole. This way I had massive suction. Thanks so much.

Wouldn't the 1.25" vacuum line hook up to one of the two suction ports in the pool wall? You can put the plug in one suction port to increase flow rate in the one that is connected to the vacuum attachment.

Tried this and would not get any suction. I don’t know why. I used all the exact parts you did and connected directly to the pump. Ended up just removing the parts to the outlet and having someone just hold the Hose to the outlet while I vacuumed. For some reason that did work and it had great suction. Idk
In leu of wasting water, all you have to do is to lockup both the intake and the exhaust portions of the water system, this causes the water to not flow either direction when you disconnect the lines. Think of it like sucking fluid in to a straw, holding your tongue against the straw and removing the straw from the drink, you will observe the fluid staying in the straw and not spilling.
My thing works fine for a minute and then it stops working! I damn well HATE this sand pump and pool! It’s connected to the pump, it won’t keep constant suction, it like pulses water through the pump!, and doesn’t suck correctly! I’m so sick of this pump, I’m tired of my filter never working, I just want to cry

Don't know if you have two B ports but I tried almost the same thing and had to cap the other B port to get good suction. Good hack.

i tried this methods with my pool. but i have another not related question. how did u put in the jet valve and did u cut the liner to install it
The valve that's shooting the water back into the pool? That actually came with the pool.

Maybe not enough water in the hose
@@bradfordtube3634 that could be the issue, it's just not priming I did put water in the hose but maybe it didn't stay.
