Thank you SO much for watching this nearly irrelevant video, although this set-up still has ideas you can use for the rest of the year!
I filmed it New Year's Day with every intention of getting it up later that week but that did not happen haha. I did share this on time over on Instagram and did use this set-up all month long. I'm happy with how it turned out and hope you enjoyed! I still wanted to share it. ❤️

Kind of random question (sorry if it's been asked and answered already), but is the washi tape in the center for a functional reason or just super cute and aesthetic? I really like it either way.

It’s mostly functional. The journal would be impossible to close eventually if I flushed the scrapbook paper to the center each time, especially when I’m using scrapbook paper on each side for so many spreads. I’ve found this is the best way of doing this.

Definitely an aesthetic decision too because I could leave the space white but I think it adds dimension to it to find washi that matches!
