- Hey guys! For today’s video I wanted to do a throwback with my blind audition from Season 18 of NBC’s the voice! I sang “Gypsies, Tramps, & Thieves by Cher and landed a spot on Team Blake! It's hard to believe all the judges didn't turn around as she sang this Classic Iconic Cher song, for she did very well.

This was the COVID season. They had remote coaching and songs. It was a horrible season but Joei was by far the best singer and should have won. She was awesome.

Joseph, I was one of his students. I sang with him quite a few times at different songs. I have never laughed so much in my life. They way he taught me the music I love so much. I will never forget his techniques. He was setting me up to sing with him on stage and shows like this. He even got me in the studio to record songs that we worked so hard on for my own album. Arturo also sang a duet with me UNGFORGETABLE. AND HE ALSO PLAYED LA vie en Rose song. I will never forget him for what he did for me. We also did a benefit show in Providence for my husbands niece.5 Karyssa who died at 10 years old from cancer, right after his mother, and himself passed away. My heart will be forever broken losing this wonderful big brother, and our dearest friend. He will never be forgotten. I do have all tapes of all mostly him singing over the years and our show. I went back to singing after not crying at the songs that I learned from him. I did survive producing another album. And I always could feel and here him singing in my ear to get the right note. Beautiful man. Friend brother caring loving heart. We miss you.
I'd love to see your battle pop up on here again. It's no joke my favorite battle ever on this show.

And you have a beautiful and incredible voice! I hope to see you one day play at the Grand ‘ol Opry. Although you should not be limited to country music with your voice. You are a natural. At my age, I can only look at you through the lens of a father. So, from my heart to hers, I am so very proud of you!

I have to assume that they all didn't turn because they assumed maybe she was much older? I hear amazing voices like hers and it makes me believe that it's all about marketing because she blows so many famous singers out of the water and she's beautiful to boot.

The Voice is such a stupid show. How do they not immediately turn around with that amazing voice? And with those drop dead gorgeous looks, your best bet would've been American Idol- which is the #1 show of all time - the GOAT of singing shows. I never got into The Voice. Nobody can name any Voice success stories while American Idol has tons of pop stars and grammy winners. You're amazing. I will look you up to see how you're doing in your career. Hope you knock it out of the park.

Cher gave life to this powerhouse of a gem 50+ years ago and IMO it certainly has stood the test of time! Not a bad performance but still doesn't stack up to Cher's!

@chrishansen4691 you won't see or hear my rendition. My point is that some songs are meant for a certain singer and that one is Chers. There are many covers of a lot of songs, and the original singers didn't have a hit, but someone else sang it and it become a hit.
Listen to her covers of I will always love you and black velvet if you want to hear her power. It's insane!

We don't pick our songs on the show, but as mentioned below, it's not a song meant to bash gypsies, it's talking about what she went through and the stigmas of what they endure. I mean no disrespect at all! 😊
