Stroh's was good beer, back in the day. I grew up in Toledo, after our family moved from New Jersey. We always drove by the brewery on our way up to Tiger games. Great memories.
Love the new layout build, the trains look awesome running on both layouts, good job, on the outside track that the big boy is on just off the bridge where the straight track connects to the curve there seems to be a hump, hope it doesn't cause any problems! Great video and Happy Memorial Day!
🥃🍻 same to you! Hope you had/have a great weekend! Yea, there are 2 little bumps on the swing bridge, but luckily hasn’t caused any troubles yet. Once the heavy steamers get on it, it gets a lil sag in it, and causes the tracks to get un level. Keeping an eye on it for the time being.
Nice to see you've completed the base of the new layout, Zach. The gateway to the centre will make access so much simpler. I'll be interested to see how you treat the hinges on the bridge section. Right now, the trains are running quite smoothly. So far, so good!
This is great! You've made decent progress since the last video. Honestly, topping your previous layout will be tough, but I suspect this new one will be worth the wait. Here's to you! Cheers
Exceptional! It's good to see trains running Your track-work is excellent and it will be sweet as the rest starts coming together. I just got my outer main running today, but it is still has a long way to go. It's not nearly as clean as yours, though. Looking forward to the future updates. As always, a fine video.
Hey Zach, I know you live in Florida, When Milton came through, we saw all the damage. I thought of you and all those nice trains. I hope you didn’t suffer any damage. Hope you will do an update since the storm and let everyone know you and your wife, and home are ok. Hope all is well.
Nice! What are the electrical units under the table at frame ~1:41? I recognize the vertically mounted silver turnout levers, but I wonder about 5 black buttons/knobs to the right and the green over red buttons to the left. Good work on all the videos. I appreciated many of your earlier videos as they chronicled your layout evolutions.
As much as I love the layouts I'd rather have on giant layout that can run everything and hold passenger's cars and have a reversing loops underneath it disappearing from different parts have a wonderful holiday season
Zach, I really appreciate the simplicity in your new layout. It gives me hope of doing something similar on a smaller scale. If you don't mind me asking, what is the approximate size of it ? Thanks, Chris.
That would be cool! But, no turntable of turn outs on this one. Wanted to stay away from em this go around. Hopefully able to get some other cool accessories on here we haven’t had before though 🤞
Looks great with the trains running. Are you planning on using that bridge up on the top loop? I know you’re only gonna be at like O-60 up there so sadly you wouldn’t be able to get shots of the big boy and other monsters…it would look cool being so high up though….congrats on getting the trains running!
Currently running 2 at the moment. One for the 3 loops on the new setup and one for the 2 on the others have been thinking about consolidating em all onto one with the ZWL powering it, but am unsure of powering everything off the one transformer. Will have to see
Looks great! Do you notice anything different with the Atlas track vs MTH besides the cost? I do understand that you do not have any switches on the new layout and I do prefer the look of the Atlas track. Just curious. I also like the wide radius curves. They really make a difference visually with the larger rolling stack and engines.
Thanks!! Do notice a few differences. The trains run much smoother on the atlas track. But, the MTH track is still light years ahead on continuity. The atlas track needs more power feeders for operation.
Love tour layout Both of them But the only thing that looks kind of weird is the ice cube trees Just my opinion buddy just my opinion. Otherwise love everything trains and all !!!!!
😂🤣 all good! They’ve been called much worse 😂🤣 I like the “rice krispy” trees the best LOL. They are not photogenic by any means, but I made em a few years ago, and still enjoy them for their size.
Very nice. I wish I had the energy to build and set one up like that.
Awesome to have the new section of the layout running. I love the Stroh's cars, brings back many memories of nipping off of Grandpa's beer.😂😂😂
Lookin good buddy, keep it up! Can't wait to see how it comes out.
Very cool Zac! Great to see the Strohs cars on the new layout! Please give the Caravelle some love!

Awesome! The bridge is even cooler with trains running over it. I was thinking over how you could make the upper loop work

Love those weathered/graffiti garbage containers.

I don’t know man? It’s not what I would have chosen to do but if you like it and that’s what counts.
3 independent loops.
What brand track is the new layout looks ready nice
Thanks! It’s atlas O track 🥃🍻
Amazing layout are your get a Mailhouse turntable
That would be cool! But, no turntable of turn outs on this one. Wanted to stay away from em this go around. Hopefully able to get some other cool accessories on here we haven’t had before though 🤞

Thanks! 🥃🍻 yes, that bridge will be used on the “upper loop”. Hopefully get it installed soon 🤞
What, is there a new layout speed limit? 😢
Are you running one TIU for all 5 tracks
Just curious
Currently running 2 at the moment. One for the 3 loops on the new setup and one for the 2 on the others have been thinking about consolidating em all onto one with the ZWL powering it, but am unsure of powering everything off the one transformer. Will have to see
why not connect the layouts
Looking good Zach! Giving me inspiration to get moving on my layout again. Thanks for sharing! Chris @Cbtrainnut!
What brand or model is the Yellow U.P. passenger cars?
They are the Lionel 21” passenger cars
@@CountryBunkersTrains Thanks. They seem to long now.
RFP box car thats a first for me. just missed a deal on a set of passenger cars
Sorry to hear on the passenger cars! I’m sure another deal will present itself soon 🤞 the RFP car is a somewhat recent offering from Atlas “premier”.
