Hey everyone, new amateur climber here, started about two months ago with some basic equipment after wathing this channel. Just doing it in the weekend, just for the fun of learning something new.
Today is the first day I got over 60ft and if wasn't for the end of the three I could have kept going for a little longer. I think i reached that height where the fear of height stop growing, so definitely a milestone for me.
I wanted to thank buckin, because is the one who made me interested into climbing threes.

Enjoyed the tree buck. Always wondered why you’d stop when you were on a roll. Now I know it’s because you wanted the blade to cool down before moving on. Thanks for the lesson friend.💯❤️👍🏾😀🙋🏽‍♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸

Back in my splitting days, I have used all kinds of contraptions that were the biggest waist of money. I had an ax that had these little fingers on both sides. When you bury the blade, the fingers pushed the wood apart. I loved my ax. It was a 5 pound ax. A real tool. Someone who knew my dad bought a so called splitting wedge. It weighed 12.5 pounds. From the cutting edge to the flat was 7 inches. The , I call it the hammer side, was 5 inches wide. The head was 5 inches thick. It was on a steel 1 1/2 inch × 3.5 feet long round handle. If you saw it Billy, you would probably throw it in the scrap metal pile. It was the most awkward thing in the world to try to swing. It was a triangle on a 3 foot pole.
Billy, it was the most useless piece of crap in the world. I wish I could talk to you. Typing my stories is such a pain. I am now disabled. Had my left leg amputated last year. I don't have a lot to do now days. I miss hard work. Keep the videos coming brother. PEACE ✌

After watching you for a year now, I do think the only Stihl saws you like is the 200t. And for being a Stihl guy, I got to say that Husqvarna 266, is really something!

Bucking long time sub here. Listening to the 266xp’s singing is inspiring me to have mine rebuilt and put it to work again. It was the first new I bought I long time ago. Do you know if I can put a 52mm piston in it of course the block will have to be changed. I’ve seen kit for this will it work?.
Love the channel. Hogan is learning for a master of the craft. 👊👊

@Buckin' Billy Ray Smith would you consider doing a commentary video on other fallers techniques? Compare what you would do the same or differently in the same scenario

Hi Buckin', do you have a mill? If not, would you get one? Extra content / income?

Man I just love to hear a two stroke roar like that. I wish I had access to your builders. Would love to have my old 288xp sound like your saws. Cutting is fun but would be even more so with performance like that in my hands. Love your videos and the knowledge I gain from watching. Thanks.

I use Stihl ms250 walking distance from home. Dew to not having wheels. I find blow down trees such as birch, maple, fur.

One of these days, you guys are going to be bucking together like in this video, and the saws are going to hit perfect synchronous harmony, the optimum cutting vibration will occur, and all the trees that you've dropped in the area will all spontaneously fall apart in perfect woodstove lengths. :)
