@@Tavieme look at God! Sometimes we can’t push things that aren’t meant for us and if I kept trying to push the narrative of ownership and bossy, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today. I’m in a place where I’m happy and comfortable and not trying to be something I’m not! And I do hope I’ve inspired others to find what works for them and go with it!

This is so pretty! I can braid but can’t feed in the hair. When I try to, it lumps up or is loose on the braid then it just looks a mess. I’ve watched countless videos but can’t find what’s best for me. Adding on the left/right. Adding after 2/3 braid downs…help 😅

DUCHESS when I try to braid at an angle or circle design my braids starts get loose and not consistent only around the angle or where the braid will bend when doing designs...can you explain what I may be doing wrong..? Hopefully it makes sense
I believe you are loosening your grip when you are doing that. Especially if you have to grab for hair or you’re doing stitch braids. For angles, you might want to pull a tad bit tighter when braiding. Not crazy tight to leave tension alopecia. lol! 😂 But just pay attention to your grip when doing styles like that.

@@DuchessBraids starting point, I do have a mannequin head but Im not really consistent on braiding. I’m trying to get to the point of braiding other people’s hair and having my own home hair studio. Trying to make this my full time job.
