I think the design of the braids is pretty. You know you are talented. I like the interlocking braids. And I like the texture of the clip-ins in the back. I low-key was trying to figure out whatever happened with your media room though? I remember watching a short on TH-cam of you receiving the chairs for it. And the carpet being installed. I'll have to go back and see what I missed. The bathroom looks luxurious and spa like though.

My hat off to you for committing to braiding your own hair, that is much harder (in my opinion) than doing others hair. Have you ever done tree braids?
I typically add in as much as 1 leg of my braid. So the size changes based on where I am in the braid process. Front add-ins will be smaller than the back ones.
I have a similar experience on my so called bohemian trials in the front of my hair! It has been pony tailed too the whole time which is alright till I do it over because all that work only to fail was not as cute as yours!!! Live and learn!
You coulda used some tiny perm rods and dipped in hot water, maybe to get it to blend better. It's really cute I see the idea you were going for. I hate when that happens to me. But great job

I felt it looked good, you could barely tell that there were braids in the back. I more think it was your expert eyes that could have seen the difference in textures that made it look bad to you because i couldn't tell the difference

You may want to try thin flexi rods dipped in hot water for hair left out of the braids.
