  • I go through the 4 stages EVERYONE must go through, and relate it in a personal and real way.

Good video and appreciate the honesty. I retired here a year ago and have traveled all over Thailand the last 12 months. I have found the born/university educated/living in Bangkok women to be the best in Thailand for me-even the younger ones in their 20's. They are just smarter, more willing and able to relate to me as an American. I haven't paid out a dime other than normal dating (coffee, lunch, entertainment). Most of the time they are happy to hang out at the pool and/or watch Netflix with a beer at home, while speaking high level English and telling me their dreams of the future. Outside of Bangkok, I have found the dating culture for a westerner to be abnormal and toxic to varying degrees. I am unwilling to change who I am, my culture or behaviors. That works fine here in Krung Thep Maha Nakhon. Looking forward to more interesting videos.

Very interesting experience. I am not surprised by your success there, as I see a fair shade of that in the Korat City culture. Thank you very much for sharing!

    Cool
Video-I didn’t understand about the different languages that she was initially speaking to you and you got upset and she stopped!

She had taught me official Thai and when I got here had switched to Thai Korat ( her usual language for wrk and friends) without telling me. Drove me crazy for about 2 months. Once I arrived- there was no interest in teaching me more language due to fear of talk to other ladies. This has all since been sorted out but it shows the cultural challenges.

That "wrong language" B.S. would been it for me, and I would have sent her packing; you're A LOT
    more forgiving than me....
