This is the Gen 2 Live Foot and we have not released it yet. It will be a few weeks. Keep an eye out on the DD26fishing site. Use code Rcarpenter to receive free shipping.
We also have optional 360 holder that can be installed on the other side for those that have one and want both.
In regards to power draw we only use .4 amps when motor is on so we draw very little power and run in 12v.
OurI focus is on improving durability and less weight of the system. The more items you have on the troll motor the heavier it can be to lift.

@The Piddling Piper I’ll have to check on that. I’m not sure they have it. But there are some options to bypass mounting it to your trolling motor

Great video and information. Just got one 3 days ago. I wish I would have seen your video first. I didn't get the carbon fiber shafts or the adjustable bracket, both would have been an improvement. I did ask about the shaft and bracket, I was told the carbon fiber shaft was two to three months out and the adjustable bracket wasn't available for the Garmen Force. Just wanted people to know so they can double check what they're getting when they order one. Used it today and love it, very easy to install and wiring is minimal. Took about an hour to completely install. It's unbelievable how much better it is not having the transducer mounted to the trolling motor shaft, especially on Spot Lock.

@@The_Garmin_Guru I was on the water for 14 hours and it's a must if your serious about LS. It's great, loved it. I'm going to contact them to see if the carbon fiber shaft can replace the metal ones on my unit if they get bent.

The current mounting plate in the kit does not work on the new Ultera Quest TM. I had to get one separate

Hey Im a little late to the party on the force trolling motor, I had it out today for the third time and it started squeaking up by the head. can you lube that to stop that and if so where?
Squeaking how bud. When deploying and stowing. If so yes just shoot a little lube on the pins. I do occasionally myself
