This work on Bedrock Edition? I have been through 4 different guides that dont say different and i messed up my base building them only to have to rebuild it and try again 😰
@@Goose_with_internet Oh no I meant i have tried other ones and they have failed, i wanted to question this one before i built it 😆 Thanks for the answer though bro
One of the pistons isn't going off, the redstone connection is out of power, but when i try to put a repeater/comparator there that piston doesn't get pulled back.
Great video! Super easy to follow. But one minor thing, if you click a repeater twice its actually at 3 ticks. because a standard repeater always has 1 tick of delay, so two clicks makes 3 ticks. Only confusing if you know it
Great video. Thanks for NOT glossing over the steps. Often times I watch a tutorial and go away scratching my head. However, I'm going to save this to my favorites and use it repeatedly.
I'm doing this in a public server, so your video was really helpful I have a 2x2 hole from y 76 to y -44 with carpets over powdered snow at the bottom There's also a bubblevater going up two blocks from the down hole The server has a land claim mod installed, so nobody can break the door open or touch the button for the door, which also prevents them from falling in my base
This does not work in c aves and cliffs part 1 as far as I know, the redstone that’s supposed to go into the repeaters and to the left/right to be hooked up to the rest of the redstone connects with the piston next to it, which just fucks up to whole build.
The red dust doesn't seem to link to your first horizontal sticky piston and it works great. When i try to copy, it doesn't work and the ONLY thing different is that red dust link
While I was building I tried to test the door, when I turned it on it worked perfectly, but when I closed it, the bottoms sticky pistons acted like normal pistons.
so i was building this and I realized that the door stays open once you go into the base is there a way to make like a timer that closes the door after you go into it?
@@vonnbvlogs144 to make a button, make a redstone wire going through a block with a redstone torch on it. that redstone torch activates the piston door which means the door is going to be closed. when you press the button it deactivates the redstone torch. you can also add a few repeaters
@@sweetcisteen lol thanks but i figured it out lol 4 months ago i was extremely terrible at redstone now i made a button with a delay and a second button from the underground part
When I set it up. I noticed that on my end while the on position works (the bottom pistons are pushed) when turning it off those bottom pistons while being pulled down are somehow left in the dead center. What’s causing that.
You can use a button and a redstone torch instead of a lever, make it so that the redstone torch is where the lever used to be, and so the button activates the torch. It’ll stay closed, and open just long enough to jump in when you press the button. I managed to hide it in my build so it’s pretty secure.
one solution is that if you use a button instead of a lever, and use redstone comparators to extend the button's signal it will give enough time to go through then it will automatically close when it is done
i didn't tried building it yet but for those who don't get it working in bedrock try to connect the 4 repeaters and the redstone so that they face to the sticky pistons than it should work. in bedrock a repeater works only in the direction it is facing.
Thanks a lot man:) U explained it so nicely, it didn't confuse me the least... I just surf into ur vids whenever I end up stuck doing any minecraft job... EXCELLENT JOB FARZY!! MY BEST WISHES FOR U!!😉🤟🤟
The Pistons are moving though, how do I not make them move because then they swap and some of the blocks that are supposed to raise aren’t raising only moving forward
Not working for me I covered it up then I pressed the lever the Pistons that were supposed to bring the stuff the dirt up just stayed there the other Pistons didn't bring it to the side I wasn't able to drop down
Great video! Just note that if you're doing this in bedrock it might not work because pistons are dumb and the bottom ones won't pull back the pistons that push the grass up, and the grass will get stuck on the top pistons instead :)
I did exactly as you did. but after more than almost a handful of attempts, I now give up. I simply do not understand why it does not want to. especially when I do the same as you 😳
I'm having trouble getting the bottom horizontal sticky pistons to retract the vertical sticky piston that retracts the floor. The sticky pistons that bring the material block over horizontally function but the sticky pistons that brings it down stay in the same place blocking the entrance. Could be a thing I'm messing up or it could be patched but I'm not sure how to make it work

I figured out a fix for those of you having trouble. STICKY PISTONS DONT PULL PISTONS THAT ARE EXTENDED.The short answer is to put a delay on sideways facing pistons so that the upward facing piston has time to retract the block before being pulled away by the bottom sideways facing piston. So just make a line for the sideways piston but put a max delay on it. Then make a line for the upward one but with no delay. Lmk if you need more detail
