Tip..... Do this hike later in the day, the scenery is much more dramatic. Th late afternoon light shines on Bridal Veil Falls and it just looks so much better at dusk. Happy trailing.

Thanks. The first time I did this route, it was indeed later in the day and the light was, as you say, much different. However, the price for that was getting stuck on the trail in the dark and having to bivouac. Adventure abounds . . .

I'm from Boston, one of my regrets is not having been to and seen with my own eyes, Yosemite, where I live is called the granite city, we have quarry's that were used to build many things, I feel like I need to go to Yosemite, Gods glorious monument
