Chengdu only opened its first subway in 2010. This city with a population of 20 million has built 550 kilometers of subway in 13 years. It is the fifth largest subway system in the urban world, and the subways are so beautiful.

Awesome! China’s subways are really amazing! My time in Chengdu was insane especially exploring most of the subway stations! I couldn’t even explore them all but the few I visited blew me away! I hope more places in the world can really be like this! Nice one bro!

1:48 The design looks like Chinese lantern, every station looks amazing. It would be the best if they put those beautiful designs into train's interiors too.
中国不同城市的地铁是按照同一套标准由不同厂商生产。成都地铁大部分是中车长春公司生产，内部装饰布局基本上都是一样的，个别线路在地板上有主题装饰。

Another fantastic video bringing the true China to the world.
While Americans prefer to have rats around their crumbling subways and the British are proud of the rivets, cast iron and bricks in their underground both countries make a deep impression on the passengers on how much they have to pay for the ride.
China chooses not to follow the western subways and underground. The result is more space, spotless cleanliness, well lit environment to ensure safety, pleasant architecture/decoration to promote enjoyable journey and the lowest fare among the industrialised nations.
The Chinese metro is now the best example of the modern China, its vast difference from the US subways and the UK underground undermines the credibility of the western media that routinely smears China.
Why are you comparing China with UK & US? It's an insult to China they're not in the same category. You should compare US & UK with India.

1.Big City, you have to go Shenzhen、Guangzhou、Chongqing、Beijing、Hangzhou、Chendu.
2.Cultural town, you have to go Wuzhen、Fenghuang、Lijiang、Pingyao.
3.Natural scenery, you have to go Yangshuo、Mount Huang、Zhangjiajie、Jiuzhaigou、Qinghai Lake、Hulunbeir Grassland.

I love taking the Shenzhen subway every day. I pay $ 0.75 Canadian for one way to work. its so clean, so fast, and everywhere police so i can feel safe and always ask for help like i sometimes do. yeah its crowded during peak hours but that is cause it is so safe and good, otherwise people would not use it so much.

This is one of the best videos I have ever seen about the subway system in China. Good job, About the problems you mentioned that need to be improved. In fact, they are all problems of quality of citizens, Not the infrastructure problem.You know, China has a population of 1.4 billion. Most of them used to live in rural areas. Im from Venezuela and I would even say the quality of the Venezuelan subway station and maintenance is better than the ones in NY, especially during the 1980's.

Do you think Chengdu metro system is better than Shenzheng? I found SZ metro is awesome and beautiful, especially the one just recently opened.
There are a lot of similarities. The design of the stations they have opened recently are gorgeous in both systems

我两个地方都去过，深圳地铁和香港地铁有合作风格比较偏向香港。但是深圳地铁的自动屏蔽门开启速度比成都慢，站内标识系统成都的更容易辨识阅读

✨The reason people try to get on the train without letting people get off first is because they're not paying attention.....they're all Texting! 😅 by the way, I grew up riding Philly subways, and later, many years of New York subways.....only robbed at gunpoint once, Philly...guy got $60. I think the gun didn't work, or he was too drugged to pull the trigger.
Does no one pay attention to the fact that some Chinese subway lines are driverless? Shanghai's Line 10, Line 15, and Line 14
If you love train china is heaven. China still has old train running for short distances. They are also tourist attraction.
These metro stations are beautiful, but I still have a preference for the old Moscow metro stations, they're just more grandiose and have aged very well.
As for the problem of waiting for people to get out before entering the metro, or the volume of phone video or call, this is a problem of education and respect unfortunately.
