- Watch the Maxxis McMullen Bell trophy truck and the Melton Class 1 get after it at the 2007 Pro Desert Racing Rocky Point 250 in May 2007. The follow cam was hairy to do in a rental car, hanging out the window, no seatbelt, with a lousy rental car in mexico on bad roads with no insurance -- good stuff!!!!
I Am Chandler McMullen, Son Of Jim McMullen, Uncle Of Albert McMullen. Albert McMullen Was The One Who Accually BUILT The Maxxis Trothy Truck.

twenty grand would build you a toothpick. try $200000. that extra zero helps a lot.

Yeah, I would have let the audio run, but the wind noise takes over at speeds over 20mph -- cannot hear the engine noise, only wind whistle. Too bad, huh?

you are right -- wind noise was horrible above 20-30mph. You don't want to hear the audio from the camcorder, trust me.

desert racers have more suspension travel. They are fairly similar to CORR Pro2 and Pro4.

Great video, you caught the suspension articulation beautifully, and awesome job at keeping the camera steady at 100+mph. Ignore the clueless detractors who haven't a clue what high wind speeds do to a mic on a regular camcorder.
