Please don't go to crowded cities like Mumbai, Delhi and other major ones. There are many more beautiful regions in India with great landscapes like Leh Ladakh. I would suggest you to visit North East and Southern states like Kerala. Have a enjoyable, safe trip here🧡

Tip: travelling to higher altitudes try to acclimatize and maybe try breathing techniques and 'pranayam'. It really helps you breath with ease. Keep yourself hydrated and try lots of fresh fruit (essentially citrus) juice.

So a small suggestion when you visit next to India - whenever you land at port of entry airport ask anyone where you can get UPI app installed in your phone. Now they will direct you to government stall where you can give your foreign currency to them and they will convert it into INR and create a temporary bank account for you, once done install the UPI app and start paying cashless. Now when you are going back again go any government stall in the airport they will close your bank account and give you back any currency left in your currency of choice like for you WON. I know our country can be loud and busy but thats our charm 😊 Also, try visiting olaces outside the golden triangle of tourists and trust me you will be awe inspired! Also try to make an Indian friend who can help you travel once you will get to know the ropes of our country for the next visit

You will see a lot of influence of Tibetan culture in Ladakh. The reason is that India shared the border with Tibet in the past but China invaded Tibet in 1950s and many Tibetans along with their spiritual leader Dalai Lama took refuge in India and moved over here. India and China also have a territorial dispute in this region and many times there are clashes between Indian and Chinese armies.

In higher altitude places like Leh, very easy to get out of breath (air is almost 40% thinner there) ... just like you were getting tired by walking around a bit. Good to do half hour of yoga breathing exercises every morning & evening. If I visit Leh, first 2-3 days, I will not do any activity. Just sleep and sit in hotel balcony all day to make my body used to the thin air.

Also try spiti valley, if u both are bikers try exploring it with a bikers group not alone. May to august are best weather if u are going to uttranchal and Himachal pradesh go before rain (monsoon) or after monsoon. Otherwise u will be stuck in land slide. Northeast is awesome try exploring arunachal pradesh. When visiting North East, make u have some cash handy for emergency.

It has nothing to with gdp per capital , it’s just that india is way more big and in mid of heavy industrialization , hell lot of people are poor but will come out of poverty soon . In 20 years india will be a advanced country . By the way no offence to Korea but we don’t compare ourself with Koreans , Korean society is way more inward looking and it’s needs a drastic change in mindset . Their thought process is way more narrow that’s why they haven’t achieved much success outside of Korea but it’s opposite of India . India is civil action that survived every invasion and is on path to achieve its lost glory
