    You're a rare bird. Most do not go into the theory or what is really going on in these songs. I dig it. Well done 👍😎

    Came here after listening to your podcast about this song. I liked when you answered email questions at the beginning of the podcast; they were helpful. It's great fun watching how you dissect a song, unwrapping its mystery and laying it bare for all to see. He-he-he

    Great stuff Desi! Love these "How does this song work?" videos. I enjoy how you break down the song and then analyze it. Definitely would love to see more of these since very few guitar instructors on youtube are doing them.

    Nice demo, thx for pointing out the illusive harmony part, was really hard to hear on the recordings

    Great lesson, thanks very much. That F# in the chorus sounds good as a dominant 7th, too.

    • @desisernaguitar
      @desisernaguitar  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The F# with the major 3rd and b7th creates the sound of B harmonic minor. Harmonic minor is a very popular sound. It's present in a lot of music.

      @@desisernaguitar Thanks, it starts quiet easy but when the singing part starts, there is a very dirty guitar loop.

    I almost thought this was a Stones song. The lead singer sounds like Mick...

  • @TempoDrift1480
    @TempoDrift1480 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You should learn this song before you teach people to do it wrong. What ends up happening is that folks say "Hey let's play this song" and then we have to sit them down and run through it the right way and everyone's all booboo lip and pissy.
