  • Siu mai are everybody's favourite dim sum. Meaning “cook-sell” these dumplings are said to get their name from being so delicious they are sold as soon as you cook them.

For all the haters out there complaining about the oven steaming technique. It's actually legit real smart for the home kitchen. I just knocked out 2 sheet trays worth of siu mai for a party and my stove top is free to steam a huge load of har gao.

I don't mind you didn't show how to steam the dumplings. If you're looking at making dumplings from scratch then you probably know how to boil a pot of water. If you don't then you can figure it out the same way you did to learn how make the dumplings right?! Congrats on the sponsorship, it's much deserved and makes me happy to see a fave content creator earn some money so they can keep on creating. I'm loving dumpling school, thanks Adam!

Siu mai are very popular in Indonesia. It is spelled ‘siomay’ there, and you usually get a plate of 6-12 sitting on a bed of steamed cabbage, accompanied by a cut up hard boiled egg, and smothered in peanut satay sauce and kecap manis. Enak!

    • @-MarkWinston-
