so much time fighting and adjusting the tensions, and Bob simplifies everything with all the even buttons, the thread does not pass through the foot holder, the thread only passes through the bobbin pigtail once, if this teacher who has so much experience in the industry It has changed a lot of things I did wrong with my machine, best video ever!
Katrina, as always, this was fantastic content. The video is full of valuable insights. It's wonderful to have someone with his level of experience provide such hands-on knowledge. Best of all, you were generous enough to share this experience with us. Much love and respect.
My husband and I just got the Ricoma 1501 and well there is a lot to learn. Thank you Katrina for these videos! We learned so much Robert! What great information!
Congratulations Katrina on your new machines and also on getting the best help with Rob, he is the best! (I am so happy to see two of my favorite people :)
Thank you so much for these videos. I have not used my MT1501 in over 8 months because of the constant thread breaks and tension issues. I so appreciate the tech taking time out to explain everything. He needs a TH-cam channel 😜.
Katrina this video was very healthful to me. I received my machines last Monday, I got the Marquee 2003 and the SWF 1501-8S. Inside the Marquee 2003 my thread was not in a brown box but just in the thread box itself and half of the thread was crush; I can not use it, and the medal things that he said keep the heads from moving in shipment my two medal bars where laying on the floor in the box of the Marquee 2003, I did not get the welcome package, I called Ricoma and they said "oh they dont do those anymore" the Marquees is the newest machines, so why wouldn't they do it. Anyhow I love my new machines and still waiting to do my training.
He mentioned thread breaks have to do with the digitized file or incorrect tension; however, the thread most times gets stuck under the top tension plates despite having good tension. I wish you had asked him the purpose of the top tension as opposed to the lower tensions.
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 Let me jump on here before Deco Summit really quick. Both or all three tensions knobs have to work together to get the perfect stitch. Top tensions is your minor adjustment while bottom tension is your major tension, top 40%/ bottom 60%. If you have 3 knobs like we do with the new machine. Top 20% Middle 20% again bottom 60%. Hope this helps. I have a video on tension. If Katrin wants to share here she can. Hope this help... #KEEP PRESSIN!!
Thanks for sharing the expert with us. I learned some helpful tips. QUESTION: I have a new 2001 Marquee and I want to get the thumbnails he talked about. I see some on Amazon but I'm not sure what size to get. Can you share that info or provide a link please?
Congrats on your new machine and leveling up in your business. I have been watching your channel for a while and your growth is amazing. Question about the thumb screws. Are the ones that you linked in the video universal for any Ricoma. I am ashamed to say say that I purchased an EM 1010 months ago and I haven’t even turned it on. I’ve had a lot going on since I purchased it. I was finally able to schedule my trading for next week. Wish me luck.
Congrats on your new machine. Let me double check and get back to you. I don’t want you to purchase the wrong ones even though you can return them. I will get back to you.
Hi Thank you for the video Please i want to ask you is there is a different in the embroidery quality between the mt1501 10s and the 2001 10s ? Thank you
No embroidery is the same no matter the machine. It’s all about your digitizing. My machine is a 2 head, it’s faster and just has the touch screen machine
Miss Katrina, have you been listening to the guy from T Shirt Side Hustle on the Art of Hustle Podcast indicating that DTF and DTG powder is causing cancer amongst other materials for screen printing?
A few people are talking about it. And I did an entire Live with Allan talking about it the other day. As long as you are staying safe you will be fine. Check out my last live. We talked about it.
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 I understand. You are absolutely correct. I lost my daughter to breast cancer a few months ago and its hard for me to get motivated. She actually helped me thread it for the first time. Thanks for your response. I know it's not easy to respond to everyone.
@@ellajrogers I'm so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. When the time is right you can start a business or create things in her memory in honor or breast cancer. Sending hugs your way
How long have you had the machine? Have you done all your online training? Make sure you are following Ricoma’s TH-cam channel they have plenty tutorials as well.
I’ve had the machine almost a year. I’ve done the tutorials but it’s not clicking. This tutorial helped me more than the training videos. I’m a retired teacher, go figure. I’m such a visual learner. 😢.

Does the same thing apply with the tension on the MT1501? I'm always messing with my tension knobs 😅 This was a great video. Cant wait for p2
Yes we did the same thing to my MT 1501

Can you run 2 different designs at the same time. I am very interested in this machine.
No you can’t it does the exact same design always
if money wasnt and issue . what machine would you start with Embroidery or dtf or sub and why ? thanks
Congratulations thanks ❤
Congrats. Did you change your other machine tension ?
Yes I think I cut that part because the video was too long
Katrina's you have step it up Lady.
Do you set the tension knobs the same on the MT 1501?
Yes....same process...I didn't want to make the video too long.

Will you please tell me the maderia number for that beautiful hot pink thread you have on your 20 needle? Thank you.
Sure give me a second I’m not at my machine. But have a number of pinks. Are you referring to the small spool on top?
I also bought that same stool yesterday and Harvey Freight and it cost me $34.00 dollars.
dope congrats

I have the 15 needle too. I did the training but I havent really practiced with it. Its just collecting dust.

Hi Katrina, can your technician assist with a Main Motor Overtime issue?
Is there an automatic needle threader? Thankfully you don't have to rethread the whole machine at once frequently
I haven't heard of anything that is going to thread the machine for you. You have to do it.
