Like tiltrella didn’t really do that great this game. Wasn’t his best performance and he got pretty unlucky but thankfully his team did well and had good synergy. But seeing something weird and unconventional why would you not comment on it lol

I love this Draven guy, because thats exactly the average experience if I try to do this strat. But my adc's usually go inting as well.
Tried it once in a normal draft with a group of 4. The Malphite at the top was really playing it, even tho we did not know him, he ended up being the carry of the game, that was so much fun. That man was chill asf

Glacial Augment is amazing, I use it on Twisted Fate when I play him as support. Gold card procs it so often and it has so much impact not just for the slow helping peel, but also the damage reduction paired with exhaust.
But also amazing on lots of other supports, like Janna etc.

@@yelsu3358 As a support my priority is keeping OTHER people alive If I'm using gold card to peel for my ADC, they have to wait out the stun, then get through the slow zone, and if they do land soemthing they also have the damage reduction, it's jsut a great ability really. Would be brokenly opressive if they had reduced damage against me ontop of that. Then every mid laner and top laner would be taking it too.

this puts a smile on my face, remembering my starting ranked season in league where i used to like playing Sion supp with glacial augment. people used to freak out (why are you trolling???) and then i would just carry the whole game. now i play real supports cuz i am higher elo now and i'm a slave of meta and laddering, but I'll never forget those days.
I got up to mastery 7 playing warwick support as my first champ. Those were the days

Like i get it, they saw you couldn't proc glacial for the first 2 fights, but the other alternatives aren't great for this playstyle. Plus the free shit you get from the tree is super nice.
pred/phase isnt that bad, helps out with movement, but yeah, glacial is probably the best

Tilterella dude i love your strategy, but i want you to try another one as a double jungle support instead of sion. I would like you to try WW support with ghost/exhaust and smite with predator and full movement runes. I want to see if it works o high elo cause in gold that i am works only if i play with a full party of premades

but what draven said kind of makes sense, like its true that when you think about it, yeah, sion can proc glacial really often, but when he procs it its with his q or ult wich are already big aoe long duration stuns, is it rly that good to have glacial atop that ? like the slow and dmg reduction is not gonna last that long once the ennemies are free to do anything again. glacial feels a bit stronger i feel on like a single target cc, so it can apply on more people in the team fight that wouldnt have been cced whatsoever otherwise, like with ivern or morgana and such. I feel like other runes could be stronger on sion, like phase rush and such. anyway, im only a good sion player in my own elo wwich is very low, so imma still take tilt s word for it, he is better with sion to a point i could never even dream of achieving. still maybe some food for thoughts for us theory builders who dont like to follow any real meta and just wanna do things our own way haha
Glacial can last longer than most other champs on Sion. And his charged Q will only hit one champion the vast majority of the time even in teamfights so the fact that it's AOE won't matter much.
its a cheese strat and like all other cheese strats, depends entirely on you having a high level of champion mastery and the enemy team being unable to play around it. a botlane that excels at 1v2 gap closes and shutdowns would've left them with a gap the size of the grand canyon in their botlane and seen them get shredded
