    Hey, I got a different brand built by GreatCircle with a Chonda engine (212cc) and its a decent product. Been chipping tree limbs all summer from a major cleanup. Anything over 1-1/2 inch is hard to put through, most limbs need stripped to single branches or it gets stuck. Green leaves also get stuck and hard to push through (spring/winter is a better season to chip). This chipper eats Maple, Cherry, Black Locust, apple and just about anything you can feed into the machine..The only real problem I had after many hours of chipping wood is the muffler is trash (fell off with ear piercing noise) and requires an act of congress to replace, seems to be a problem on these chippers.

    After watching you snatch it across the yard attempting to start it twice I watched the whole video to see if you’d stick a flip flopped foot in the thing. I give this a perfect score, a solid 5/7.

    This is good portable and cheap. These machines jump from 500 dollars to 1200 to 2500 for a really high end self feed model. Auto hydraulic models tend to be 4000 dollasr and up.

    Chickens are freaking out !

  • @fmixthings
    @fmixthings 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Looks like it works pretty well. Bigger stuff, you have to do the peck and stab so the engine won't die. Maybe cut the branch where you think/know it won't stall and make the bigger pieces short, about 12-18 inches and toss them in chunks. Shorter bits won't stall as bad. That was my main reason for upgrading from the Harbor Freight chipper to a large hydraulic feed one.
    But for a small home gamer like my first house, this looks like it would be awesome. How is it to maneuver around the yard? Is it balanced?

    • @fixingspencer
      @fixingspencer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Smaller chunks is a good idea! I will definitely try that! Maneuvering is very easy as its quite a small machine.

    • @fmixthings
      @fmixthings ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joemartian7942 good luck! With enough use you'll learn what size diameter branches you can get away with putting in vs having to trim and cut to lengths. Either way, as long as it chews them up that's all we need.

    Nice that it sucks in the branches - that is essential for good productivity. Unfortunately, they could have added a flywheel that would have dramatically improved what it could handle.

    • @fixingspencer
      @fixingspencer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could be anything... Things to check: gas valve turned on, choke lever all the way on choke(its kind of a strange feeling to push it all the way to choke), also won't start if there are branches in the hopper... Hope one of these helps

    I ordered one of these from the very same seller on Amazon. They took my money and created a shipping label but never shipped it. I emailed them 3 times and had to contact Amazon and have them step in. They said that there weren't any in stock but as I'm writing this it shows they have 19 of them. Took another week before they gave a refund. Horrible company!
