Congrats, you've noticed that LyraBon is officially canon. just like so many people in the fandom were hoping they would be someday, and lucky for them the writers thought "It's the final season, what they going to do cancel us?"
There’s one lesson to be learned from this episode, never let Discord help plan important events.
Chaos is the opposite of order, after all.

Discord's character development of actually being excited that big Mac got married and trying to help compared to him dismissing love in big mac breakdown.
BM is quite bold awww ....props and mad respect to him, and man one of the best episode, glad Spike got a big role and man rare for 4th wall breaks!
I was so glad to see that you caught Lyra and Bon Bon's proposal in the background. It happened so fast, but isn't that just perfect for background ponies? What could be better?

Do you two think Starlight deserves to have attended the wedding? She’s just as significant as Sugar Belle’s village friends. I pictured an alternate ending like this:
Shortly after they’ve kissed and start to walk down the aisle, Sugar Belle briefly pauses and sees a familiar Pony from afar, distant from the other wedding guests. It’s Starlight!
_(She runs immediately to her and they hug.)_
“Starlight! You made it!”
“It was a last minute rush, Sugar Belle. (excited) But I couldn’t forget your big day!”
_(They begin walking together to Big Mac.)_
“Congrats to you both! I’m happy for you!”
_(They then quickly turn their attentions toward Discord’s singing apples, staring at them awkwardly.)_
Ooh. The wedding that inevitably would happen before the series finale! Hats off to you, Sugar Mac.

And to think the reason why they added the Star Trek reference in this episode was because of the fact that Grand Pear was voiced by William Shatner.

Amazing reaction as always! I loved this episode the Q Star Trek reference was amazing! Lol Lyra and bon proposing was amazing as well! Best canon ship!
And so you've made it to the final Slice Of Life episode of the FIM series! it's the best SugarMac episode i tell you what! Big Mac and Sugar Belle are liek the 3rd canon couple in the series to get married and have an on screen wedding! i say they are the 3rd because Cadence and Shining Armor and Cranky and Matilda are the other 2.
And everything that happened in this episode was a real doozy, especially the apple monster part. although i did like how the parts where the characters told the story was like the confessional parts of what you would see on a reality show. but at least everything worked out in the end!
But this episode proves even further that Discord can't be trusted to do anything right.
Also a heads up, when you guys watch "The Last Problem" keep a close eye on the background trust me you'll be in for a big surprise.
Personally, I prefer “A Canterlot Wedding” when it comes to wedding episodes. The plot was linear and not all over the place like the others. Not saying that I don’t like “Slice of Life” though because it’s great. But I prefer storylines to be balanced out in a singular direction.
Since you guys are probably gonna watch the final 3 episodes all at once in a video, one thing i want to tell you guys is keep your eyes out for Lyra and Bon Bon. that's all i'm gonna say.
Quick question, are you going to be TH-cam premiering your reaction to the finale episodes? if not that's fine i'm just curious but i wouldn't mind if you did.

I like this episode, though it isn’t amazing. Point of view episodes are a hit and miss for me. While this one isn’t as dull as “Pony Point of View,” it has a little too many side plots and turns me off until the end. Speaking of which, I appreciate the sequence of Big Mac and Sugar Belle’s proposal under Bright Mac and Buttercup’s Apple/Pear tree. That, and the wedding itself.
Again, not a bad episode, just needed to be simplified in terms of the plot. Super excited for the final three episode reactions, HYPE!!
Not only is it a "point of view" episode, it's also the last "Slice Of Life" episode.
