- We don't shoot lowrider's very often...this only the 3rd one we've ever shot but everytime these things make me smile. When Josh hits the switches on his '63 Impala Ragtop you quickly know why he calls it Sky High...this thing JUMPS!!

My grandpa had that thst same impala, but like a mint green color. He drove me and my friend on my birthday to the roller skating rink. All 7 friends. We were 8 years old. I'll never forget that. I miss him.....wish I knew who bought his car.....🙏🇺🇸

You can hear, or not hear, how well those hydros were installed... usually you hear so much rattling that you think the frame is gonna fall off and all you can hear on this '63 is it pounding the pavement! Great job on the build!

Lowrider Magazine got me into the custom car scene. Glad to see them featured on here several times. Crazy that he hops it with that much speed while driving. Can tell frame and suspension work is well done.

I could not wipe the smile off my face during this video, I love the time and effort to make these bad ass rides, even if I know nothing about this form.
My Parents are from So Cal and moved back here from Iowa after my Father finished college. So I'm 5 in 1973 they have these cars out here that go up and down of course I NEVER seen anything like it before! These Guys went from getting laughed out of car shows decades ago to being the standard bearers of painting and bodywork. They are WITHOUT PEER in that respect.

It goes straight, but the steering wheel is cocked to the right 90 degrees! Crazy how low riders might think I ruined my Impala the same way I think about how that car is being ruined by hopping. It hurts to hear all the clanking every time it lands.

I just couldn't do that to an original matching numbers car, they're only original once. I would of rather bought a clean non original numbered car and started from there. But he chose to, so good for him. 😎👍
If he was correct that it had a 350 in the front there is a very good chance it wasn't original. Might have been restomodded by then and he just took it further.
Don’t know if it was all original when he got it but my approach is build what you want and have fun with it and he does

Love the lowrider look. Not into the hopping much. The craftsmanship is incredible. Would not call it a trunk. It's more of a control centre. No room in there to carry anything. Be safe and stay well.

*Esse... They should not Dog thoze beauties out too much, tho. They're works of art and should be passed on to the next generation... They must have some kind of scheduled maintenance where key components are routinely checked for looseness, breaks, etc.? Hopefully there are Low Rider museums to house cars like this? When I was a kid in the 1960s, Low Riders had "scrape bars" on bottom to protect the undersides. Perhaps this guy should incorporate this on his car? Low Riders in the 1960s and 70s were "juiced", however they were not at pretty as they are today! P.S. The most FUN Low Rider demo that I've seen to date. Great job!*

San Francisco. I stayed on Silver Street. I heard something sounding like it was crashing over and over again. I went outside and saw 3 cars bouncing. I went up to the guys and asked why would you do that. They laughed at me and names me Draulics. Growing up in The Bay View. I never saw a car bounce really. We got Hills. So you would see a car do some Dukes of hazard shit with a bad bitch in the car too. I used to see that about once a week. Ride smooth and be safe.

Hey man loved the video. My brother's first car was a 64 Chevy Impala. He bought it not long after cruising on Van Nuys Blvd was banned. I have a Xmas decoration with Santa and his crew delivering packages in a lowrider car. It plays the song. It is so fun.
