Just ordered my paints. Can hardly wait to get them, they are such beautiful vibrant colors. Love your paintings you make it no so intimidating for us beginners. Easy to understand and follow.
OMG 😳 I LOVE 💕 the colors you use…… beautiful 👌🏼. I’ve been waiting to start a project… your videos make it look easy…. hopefully I’ll try these very soon!😁
I love them all 😍😍😍 the colors in the first one are my fav! I don't think I've done a successful hair dryer pour yet. And the last one with all the cells!! ❤️❤️❤️ You are so amazing! I love learning from you!
Most canvases come pre-gessoed and ready to pour on. Any prep that you do is entirely up to you, but it is not required. If your canvas is loose I do recommend wetting the back to tighten it up before pouring. You may also want to tape off the back to keep it cleaner, and you may want to apply additional coats of gesso, but these are a personal preference. :)
@@MixedMediaGirl Thank you for that. I never knew that was a thing until I watched another video. I am starting with my toddler so we can do it together! 🙂
Wow!! Those didn't take any time at all!! 😂😉 The half foam balls made me think of the plastic Easter egg halves. Those might be a good version of that pour! 💖 Beautiful outcomes!! 👏👏
I love number 5. I’ve been trying to do a painting with an outcome of the same colors but just haven’t found the right combinations. What colors are you using in that one please?
This is an awesome video, thanks for posting it!🔥 A few quick questions about the paints if that's cool! The pouring paints you link to in the description, do you water them down at all, or use them as they come? And do you need to apply a finish after? Also, is it true that you need to wait for up to 3 weeks for the paint to dry and then fully cure? Thanks! 😃
Been looking for spinning table you can attach s.all and sat up to a 24x24 canvas...only find 12 cake type rotating type...do t know if can attach so doesn't spin off. Where did you get yours. Ted
What I don't understand is what purpose does the foam balls have to do with a paint pour project? With all the tutorials that are out there and all the tutorials I've watched. It's one less step to visualize it without that phone ball and you can still get the results.. # LOVED !!!
Can anyone tell me how much of each paint to use? Any example-canvas, vase, wine bottles would help. I just can't seem to get the right paint proportions.
Hi, I was wondering what you think of the Nova Color paints? Have you tried them in a peal painting? I've wanted to try them but shipping is high so wanted to check in first before my order? Thanks in advance.

This is six different videos in 1 so I used various products. The paints I use are Mixed Media Girl Pouring Paints mixedmediagirl.com/collections/pouring-paint and I typically get canvases from Michaels :)
These r beautiful but I’m a beginner what consistency is ur base pain and what is ur base paint? On some of the paintings. Also what’s the consistency of ur pouring paint for each technique?? My paintings r not very nice HELP can u do a total step by step for beginners PLZZZZZ thx!!
@@MixedMediaGirl is there a way to mix paint nicely at all like this like they do with epoxy floors but that involves spreading it out.i want a rocky looking gray floor
@@MixedMediaGirl I appreciate it takes practice, most skills do, I followed the mixing paint etc in your book but despite that I ended up with a liquid mess - which was an expensive mess ☹️
In the book and here I recommend starting off with cheap paints and canvases. It shouldn't be expensive to practice unless you're using expensive materials. Canvases can be reused over and over. You can even practice on cardboard or wood
@@MixedMediaGirl I’ve painted on cheap canvases and cardboard I followed your instructions on mixing acrylic paint with owetral and water (the uk equivalent of floetrol) I’m on the verge of abandoning all hope of a successful outcome 😑
Definitely don't give up. Materials are different in different countries, so you'll likely need to adjust your ratios. If you want to email me some pics of what you're running into I may be able to help you more (info@thepainterinyou.com)
It’s not a waste when you’re creating beautiful pieces of art!
most def!
That's what I have to tell myself, because the artist in me and the OCD in me are battling. Lol
Love your colors and techniques! Cells don’t look reptilian! They are awesome!
Oh my how beautiful & cute (the pink one) are these paintings! Loved the triptych.
Thank you :)
The last one !!!! Beautiful.

Love the Grenade pour! Doing that one tonight!
It's one of my favorites!
Wow!!! To all them, love the bright colours.
This is the most fun and addicting hobby
I want to do acrylic pouring eventually. The results are gorgeous!
Omg I love all of them, I love the Beautiful colors, I'm gonna try this 🤍💙💚🧡❤️💛💜
I'm a fan of all of these!!!
Ty
I went and bought all that I think I'll need .... now I just need a little push 😂
This very beautiful video is the ticket.
Ty for sharing!
The colors you use in each of these are so pretty! My eyes are amazed but how well, the colors fit together! ❤❤❤
Amazing. All are beautiful 😍
Thank you so much 😊
I really like all of them. Thank you.

Loved them all . Still have not been able to get the hair dryer technique right . Thanks for sharing !
Wow I love it! How are u getting the airbubbles? E.g. 1:43 mark
Silicone
So lovely,thanks for the video.
YOU'RE A PRO. LOVE FROM GEORGIA ❤❤❤❤
Do you put white paint on the canvas first or is it a blank canvas? Should I put white paint down first?
Looks blank to me.
All so beautiful ❤
05 and 06!!!
Is there something mixed with the paints?
Soooo Amazing! You make it look sooo easy! 😂❤❤❤

The pink one you did with the funnel, did you use a lot of flood paint thinner to get so many cells?
Is ot paint thinner or silicone? I'm struggling so hard to create the cells I'm looking for
I think for the holes that you see on paintings and bubbles you can add like treadmill oil or something to it
Thank you so much. I picked up some ideas. 👍🏼🌹
All the colors together are really Awesome Possum

Hello. Can you or anyone else tell me where to get the spinning object, and also the small bowl-like objects in the beginning? Thanks in advance. ❤️

Does using just water make the cells out was something else added?
I'm new lol

I am a crafter and I am so interested in doing this,do I have to paint the canvas or wood with white acrylic paint before starting the pouring paint?
Canvas - no. Wood - maybe, it depends on the wood
Has anyone tried the foam ball pour? Just curious if it makes that much of a difference than just regular pouring.
Or use 'vibration' (using a massage gun underneath) as well as spin method?
I loved watching your multi style video did the last one have silicone or are all the cells are from using the funnel? Thanks for sharing❤️👩🎨🇨🇦
Just from the funnel 😊
Next ytime on the spring one put a big canvas down to make a second painting from fling paint
I am terrified to waste all my paint 😂😂
Just scrape it all up and use it as a base colour on another painting the next day:)
You never know what you’re capable of if you don’t take risks here and there.
Ugh me too lol
Right? That shits expensive!!

Where do you get your turn table covers? I couldn’t find them on your Amazon site.
your "mixed media girl" paints can actually be used right out of the bottle, to do a ring pour and a dutch pour ?
Yes
Nice
Can you use just acrylic pouring paint or do you need to add something else
Add a pouring medium, there are different ones.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💛
How long do these take to dry?
About a day
What is a good blow dryer to use without drying my paint ?

What "ingredients" are used to achieve this. help.
Is there a technique that uses a quarter of the paint
No

Anyone thought of a 'double art pour'??. I.e. create another layer art from 'run off' from first platform?
Trying to save the run off would probably mix the paints resulting in an undesirable color.
How come "colander pour" wasn't included? That pour is pretty easy and almost everybody has a colander
Because I just picked 6

Idk what it is. Maybe OCD brain, but I hate the traveling ring pour. Nope. Can't do it.
Ok 👍
For beginners? You didn’t show mixing the paint and what with?
This is pouring paint, you don't need to mix it. Please read the video description 👍👍👍👍👍
Obscene amounts of waste. Shameful.
There's no waste, but thank you for the engagement. 👍
