- Where's a better place to live, Kelowna or West Kelowna? What's actually considered West Kelowna? What amenities are in both cities?! All these questions and more are some I hear often when speaking with clients looking to relocate to the Okanagan. I thought we'd cover the two areas at a higher level and give some context to Kelowna vs. West Kelowna!

I was looking for a drug addict to help me with a few things around the house. I looked everywhere, kijiji, Craigslist, shopping malls. Almost gave up searching, and then boom...went to Kelowna one day, and there they all were. I was in heaven!
Kelowna loaded with new immigrants, mainly East Indian and Asian (Chinese) students. Also, homeless crime and open drug use is a much bigger issue in Kelowna than West. Both places very beautiful with a very high cost of living. I could walk for miles along the lakeshore of West Kelowna and barely see/meet anyone in 90 minutes. That would never happen in the big city

They really do! And both are great communities!
It’s just endless big box stores and new homes, nothing special.
kelowna is a crowded modern town with poor services and overpriced/overtaxed homes. West Kelowna, is practically owned by first nations, and is a grubby poorly maintained village where you don't feel safe walking down town at night.
Move to vancouver lol
YOU MAKE NO MENTION OF THE SEVERE SHORTAGE OF HEALTHCARE AND NEED TO GET ON A WAITING LIST FOR A FAMIOLY DOCTOR ASAP!!
