- Join me, Iaen, and Marion at the field on this beautiful (at least at first) Friday afternoon. We had a complete afternoon full of flights, including the maiden and first four flights on my new Protos 800X Evoluzione.
The Protos 800 is flying absolutely awesome and I cannot wait to get more flights on it. It sounds incredible, looks incredible, and is a joy to fly. I can tell it has a lot of power left to give and I plan on using it eventually ;)
I finally got the POM dampers installed on my Protos 380, as well as more or less fixed the tail wag issues I was having (literally just regular tail gain lol). The POM dampers give it a much more solid feel, just like they did on all of my other helicopters, and it's even more fun to fly than it was before because it really does feel much more direct in response and very crisp on cyclic.

Whow what asome pilots and copters.
Lovely field. Wish I could come out and join in.
I have a trex 500 and a trex 700 and a Logo 600, but honestly I enjoy flying my trex 470 and Protos 380 the most
Amazing video and a wonderful selection of Heli's today. Thanks for sharing!
These videos are great! Thanks for posting.
Great video Keith. Man that 380 really takes a pounding and comes back for more.
Sure does. Great beater heli :)
Ooh Man that TX though!
Hola por favor, en Protos 380. 4,s. Que piñón 25?
Yo what’s The difference between the new dampers and the old dampers can you tell the difference in flight
Any pilots In southern Cali?
Very enjoyable channel, TH-cam recommended something good this time haha, just a quick question.
I'm using a Protos 450 mini stretch and I feel like it's not as locked in as it should be.
What can I change to make it more locked in?
Using a Microbeast as gyro. Most of the dials are increased on the microbeast.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks! Wow my stuff is being suggested to people, that's pretty cool lol. You have the mini protos? I'm not really familiar with that heli, you might try to find red dampers for it if you don't have them already, if you're using the black ones they're pretty soft and won't feel very locked in.
@@BladeScraper Thanks for the reaction, I can try that yeah. Didn't even think of that lol. I'll try some other dampers, thanks.

I liked the 800 flight. Don't think it's boring
one more question
My Protos 380 V1 the tail is wagging and I try to adjust the tail gain and it still not holding strong enough ( plastic Tail box )
Do you have this issue before with on your V1 ? some guys said I need to upgrade to aluminums tail box
The main thing is make sure you built your tail grip assembly correctly. It's very picky.
@@BladeScraper any tip how to build correctly brother?
If so i want to dm you on facebook
Sorry buddy should Have just watch more of the video 😂 you just answered my question
