- "Fashion Police" host Joan Rivers joined "Extra's" Mario Lopez at The Grove and shared her thoughts on the feud between her fellow "Fashion" host Kelly Osbourne and singer Lady Gaga.
R.I.P Joan. Never failed to make me laugh.
No one else comes close. What I loved about Joan Rivers is that the “wo£e” politically correct self appointed police never dared to heckle or protest at any of her shows. They could never get her cancelled because she just didn’t care and the audience wouldn’t stand for it.. it is true that we choose to take offence but comedy pushes boundaries and like she said, her jokes about the death camps got people talking and remembering what happened.
JR has seen the best and worst come and go. She is a pioneer in comedy. She pokes more fun at herself than anybody else, which a true comic does. Anyone who has sense of humor would not say such scathing things about her. Joan Rivers is a very giving, compassionate person whose abrasive comedy gets mis-overstood. Its all in fun. Another thing I admire about her is she is frank and doesn't take shit. A true survivor! A true icon!

people need to get the story straight: the only reason gaga wrote to kelly was because kelly was saying how little monsters were the worst fan base.. gaga didn't randomly decide to criticise fashion police. Kelly osbourne has no right to complain about people commenting on her appearance, when she does that for a living to other people anyway..
She was good friends with Judge Judy you know what's interesting is both of them sound alike and I think that's probably how people are brought up in New York with that accent the tone the Cadence of their voice.

Well, you weren't the one that Joan Rivers targetted in public and you weren't the one she chose to humiliate and put down. You guys can insult joan all you want calling her mean/a bitch, but she's always been like that ever since her career started. She's a COMDEDIAN. This is what she does. Making fun of celebrities is what makes people laugh the most. Ibesides don't we all make fun of celebs? And it's not like she doesnt make fun of herself, SHE DOES. Again, thats what comedians do.

Yep, think of names as Brad Pitt, Elizabeth Taylor, Bill Clinton ect. Gaga might be famous with younger people now but there are celebrities who are known by a much wider age population...
Also by this I'm not implying that Gaga isn't talented or famous at all, just giving some perspective...
She is very famous right now, but she has only been around for a couple of years... the people I'm talking about were around for decades.

gaga can take a joke, but when people like kelly osbourne start complaining constantly and needs her mom to send letters constantly to gaga's manager asking for her to tell people what to do (she can't control her fans' actions) gaga decides to respond and point out her hypocrisy on the fashion police which basically was created to make fun of people's fashion choices. i think kelly should choose a different career path and not make fun of people if she can't handle the same!
But she can't control what everybody says, millions of people write horrible things and hide under her anti-bullying motto..
How famous you are isn't worth much. How respected you are...THAT means something. The one thing that made me respect Gaga was her anti-bullying stance, & her willingness to both allow bullying/violence/threats on her site & apparently perpetrate it herself reeks of hypocrisy. Frankly, it undermines all her previous efforts, including her foundation, as a PR move rather than genuine concern. You can't tell people how not to act, act in exactly that manner, then...what? Do as I say, not as I do?

Joan and kelly literally had a show were they were literally dedicated to criticizing people’s appearances they had no right to complain about bullying just because they’re on the receiving end. This is the highest level of hypocrisy and playing the victim. Gaga & her fans never randomly attacked them they simply did what joan and kelly do to others except joan and kelly literally made a living out of “bullying” people while the fans were simply giving their opinions. Get it together and stop whining.
It is a joke, although Kelly is not someone who I remotely find funny or even talented, Lady Gaga should have just left this joke/comment alone, she didn't need to slag off the whole Fashion Police show. the only reason kelly is even famous is because she either picks an argument with a celebrity or she piggy backs on the fame of others to get a break so if you don't want trouble don't go causing it and its so ironic considering the bullying kelly went through when she uses fashion police as a platform to attack people based on clothing, also gaga is wrong because instead of involving a the public it should have been done on the side maybe a call or meeting set up by their people to hash it out

Joan Rivers is very talented. She has been in the business for longer than Lady Gaga has been alive. She paved the way for women in comedy. It also takes a really sharp mind to come back as quick as Joan does, ESPECIALLY in her standup. Fashion is subjective, a lot of targets on fashion police actually attended Joan's funeral. A lot of the jokes she did were really to show people the social issue behind it. Most people understand that Joan is joking, and she really picks on herself more than anyone else. She wasn't telling anyone what to wear, just judging what they did wear. Celebrities aren't so sensitive that one outfit getting ridiculed is going to hurt them, at least they shouldn't be and signed up for the wrong job. When you're a public image you get picked on. But so does everyone, it doesn't get better after HS like the adult world is so equal? LOL. We need to stop calling it bullying and start calling it what it really is - harassment. And stop acting like it magically stops after graduation because it doesn't.
