Woah, there really is a spin counter, cool. Also you have nailed the burnout cure. It is as simple as 'try doing something else'. Variety is the spice of life and eve is life.
Exploration is wild. I pulled 700 mill in loot out of low sec cans today. With 3 separate cans being over 200mill each. Another good way to shake burnout is to do an "Ironman" run. There is another channel that is in the middle of a "Corvette to Cynabal" challenge. He isn't using markets, unless selling to NPCs. He has to build and loot everything he uses. He is doing no tutorials, only allowed to take Angel Cartel missions, and can only use a corvette in high sec (For anything that isn't travel). This set of rules has started an absolute epic journey, as he is clawing his way up from nothing. I highly recommend watching it. I am doing my own challenge of this sort, with lighter restrictions. It's a lot of fun.
The best solution to burnout is to stop playing for a while. Nobody should feel like they **have** to play a **video game** which is supposed to be fun. Try new activities, of course, but if you still aren't feeling good when playing then you should not force yourself to play.
I went to comments to just write literaly same comment. This is what is working for me every time. I will play for 4 - 5 months (usually in winter) and then I will stop and enjoy life little bit more. After some time Iam back and there is no burnout.
100%. Eve is unique in the way you progress through skills without needing to play the game, so taking a break isn't pushished as hard as in other games.
This is a fake content creator who works for CCP trying to shill players into other directions Was done in pearl abyss while growing the game fake buffing creators and content for the community to make players go down other paths and try to keep them around like this lol 😂
my answer to years of not logging due to burnout was to start a new character from zero and enter once a week to do some highsec exploration on the side to get some ISK while im waiting for an specific set of alpha skills that i will use to move out and live as a Frigate specialist in Wormhole Space.
As an alpha if you really want content as fast as possible and to min max i suggest making 2 or 3 accounts. This way you have 2 or 3 characters training into specialized roles, so you can havw your main account which you experiment and do whatever skills you feel at the time, but then specifically have an alt account that trains industry if you want that, or train into a pvp alt that focuses on frigate and destroyer for faction warfare, while your main is training for battleships to run missions.
I actually really like the idea of a new character. I created a new toon recently to see what the new player experience was like these days. I kind of like the limitations of not being able to do literally whatever I like.
@@GamesDoneCasual The key is to play the new character with a specialized role in mind and no alts of any kind. EVE was designed for people to take on an specific task because the skill learning times were massive, that way group play would be more important.
You know what has 'cured' my Burnout? Alphas. The quest to see how far I can take them. Have a small army of them doing various things. Best thing part is I don't pay for them. They are free. So I don't feel like I'm spending hundreds of dollars a year burning out. Its riddled with challenges and the ceiling of things to do is still quite high. There's more 'game' playing an Alpha then most other games ever made if your into the 'Eve Thing'.
Trust me, soon you will find a way to make enough easily to fun all I'd your alpha accounts to omega, start with 1, then 2 and so on. Use ingame isk, and see your isk potential skyrocket for each omega added into the equation
@@umadbroimatroll7918 I did that for a while and I did not like the feeling of playing the game just to fund playing the game. I want to play the game and keep my ISK for things I want to invest into. Making my Chess Board bigger is entertainment even if its just for a bunch of Alphas.
@@chrisklugh that's what I mean though, you will hit a point where using the isk as plex to sub is meaningless. When you have 20b in the bank and 100b assets it's very easy to sub accounts. I started before the whole alpha and omega thing, but I remember my first time plexing was a struggle and felt like a job, nowadays I log in maybe 1 hour a day tops, and play with 7 accounts omega free because of plex. Plus I have an assortment of alpha accounts as spies, quick contract accepts, market alts, wormhole seeds, wormhole rolling alts and more. Btw a word of advice is to sub 1 account only, and only work up 1 account at a time. I went from 4 to 7 accounts and using the full potential of reactions, planetary Interaction and more is alot of work to add so many accounts at once. Pace yourself by adding 1 new account to omega every month or 2. Once you know what you are doing and comfortably living with the isk you have. If you want some tips I can let you know also o7
When i was in null made no isk, so its pretty much the same in HS yesterday i played for 9+ hours in the exploring event, all day i made 70 mill then just before bed i found one can with one item worth 108 mill........one of them skin design colours....... i'd really like to see some relic sites.

This is so true, and I'm actually kicking myself for not putting it in the vid. Look after yourselves people! ❤️

There is indeed! You gotta spin it a few times before it shows up though 🤣
Protip, spins left and and right both add to the counter allowing you to whip your mouse around for higher spins/hr
