May I ask a question? My granddaughter,Aubree asked me to make her some JoJo bows? JoJo? When I saw the price of that bow base and it’s materials all in a set $$$ i was like okay, I have Ribbon. I can do this. So, I watch with my Ribbon at hand. It would have been easier for me if the supplies needed would have been posted before starting.
Like, you’ll need ?? Cm. Of a plain and print ribbon, same width, needle and thread, scissor, fabric glue, ....
I decided to put velcro on them? How and Why? Well I didn’t have but a few barrette and head bands. So on the back of the bow, I placed a soft side lever o piece (depending on size of bow, and the scratchy side on the barrette/headband. This way she (6 yrs old) can get the barrette in first, without squeezing or messing up the bow, then she can position a bow. She can interchange them, throughout the day without removing the barrette. I just so happen to have a stock of velcro. I used the glue on type and used hot glue to attach them. I have sticky back velcro too, but I was thinking when she pulls the bow off, Will the velcro separate or get pulled off the bow or barrette? So, I guess play that by ear. I thought I’d used a piece of ribbon, long enough to hang down, from a door, wall or even ceiling. Placing velcro tabs, for this one I’d place scratchy velcro, on it starting where she can reach and down every 5” - 6”, and I’d have a space to place soft velcro pieces, for the barrettes/headbands too. So everything would be right there.
I like the live showing, not speeded up. I can still pause if needed. And I also like when some directions are posted, I know when to grab something new.
Thanks, I love repurposing, so all my mostly odd sizes and lengths of ribbon can work.

Another reason I’d like to know what supplies are needed is because she and her mom were looking on-line, found some ribbon she liked, but had no idea how much to order? And then have it shipped to me.
Happily Crafting, and spreading the word “Do on to others, as you would want for yourself” God’s words with many meanings, mine is Wear Masks, not just because it’s right, but because we All want to see our family and other people, in person, Alive, next Thanksgiving!
