I'll be honest I've watched all the conversion from dirty and beautiful Prado with mods. I watched this one as well a year ago and yet here I'm again with the recommendations.
Would love to see you doing another one again though.

Amazing job. I have a Toyota Prado 2006 GX very similar will be changing the carpet myself it needs some love!
From Perth and onto my 2nd prado 120 4ltre as i love em & so does the wife. Previous had an 04 5sp man GXL & wife got sick of changing gears in city traffic.
Current is a black 07 GXL auto 4ltr with 200ks & tons of upgrades including a Harrop E-diff locker in the rear diff (will eventually get the front diff done as well) Redark dual battery set up/ redark Tow Kit/ LED black binnacle headlights - complete headlight swap & game changer/ LED taillights with dark shaded indicators - complete assembly swap - game changer) Big red LED spotlights/ rear slide draws & wired for fridge.
Upgraded Exhaust with custom s/steel larger piping from headers back and it sounds hot with a low rumble. (I have the shortie Headers ready to fit as well & will be doing that soon)
I have a new lift kit (springs & shocks) ready to swap in. (i am a DIY at home with a workshop & hoist which makes life much easier)
Can't decide on wheels 17 x 9 ET0 spec but like what you have fitted up & surprised no rub issues with front upper control arm on yours.
These 120 Prado's are great cars and really comfi on long trips.
I swear by the 1GR-FE 4 litre engine after having owned 2 x 120 Prado's with these engines over the past 10yrs

Howzit. Dit you fit the tyres on the standard suspension, I saw the lift on the front with the spacer, but was the rest standard.
Now I’m regretting selling mine 😢

How easy was it to get the 33s on there with just the 2" lift ? So much conflicting stuff out there, people saying you can and people saying you cant!

Great build, one of the most underestimated 4wdrives the Prado, super capable. Get rid of those spacers they are absolute rubbish.

What about the engine? Lots of repair?
The 1GRFE is Toyota’s best & most reliable engine ever. Well the upgraded version from 2009 actually is but this one is a very close 2nd. Speaks volumes.
All I’ve done is serviced the car. The engine hasn’t missed a beat. Runs beautifully and has 370,000km on it!
You may experience a timing cover oil leak soon but that should be about it for a while. The 1GRFE engine was first used in the Prado in 2003. It’s not used in Toyota models in Australia anymore due to our price of fuel potentially hurting sales, but is still used in American Toyota 4wds, the Tacoma & 4Runner in 2023. It uses old school technology by modern standards and doesn’t even have as much power output as it could’ve had, but I guess that’s what reliability, no fuss minded people like about them. That’s an engine that’s been in flagship Toyota 4wds for 20yrs now.
Watch out for bad injectors. May cause serious damage to engine without any signs or warnings

Dude please take out those strutt spacers and put a proper lift in. Trust me if you don't want bent or snapped shocks take them out
I’ve had strut spacers in every Ute & 4wd I’ve ever owned with 0 issue whatsoever 🤷🏻♂️
