Hope you found this tutorial helpful! Leave a like & subscribe if you aren't already! New video every Sunday!! Comment any other topics you want me to cover! :)
Sound adds like a whole new dynamic to a video, even though a lot of people don't notice the details!! It literally makes you feel there at that moment! I learned this thanks to watching a lot of your videos in the past and that's why I was inspired by you and Sam for my 2nd video after Casey for my first. #AndYesss
You inspired me so much these past few months, im heading to Hawaii soon with my girlfriend, bought myself a drone, bought myself a camera and im launching my TH-cam Channel in soon! Thank you for everything, your tutorials, the inspiration you've givin me threw your videos, thank you sooo much, i feel like im starting a new chapter in my life and it's all thanks to you!
thanks so much for this. don't think that many of us recreational/hobbyists would be able to achieve that level of thought process but it really helps us appreciate the dedication to the work that we we enjoy so much. It is like seeing art beyond the veil (if that makes sense).
This tutorial was SUPER helpful! Listening to just the audio was a creative way to really drive in the idea of how important audio is! I'm going to try these techniques on my next video!
Seriously, I can't tell you how much I appreciate this and all the work you do to teach people. You're a true visual/audio story teller and your work is magic. Thank you for taking the time to teach me and so many other people, I surely appreciate it, and I'm sure there are lots of other people that do too*. Keep inspiring! :)
Thank you so much for these tutorials. They are really helpful. Without them, my spring break California trip video would not have been nearly as good as it is at telling the visual story that I wanted to tell. Thanks Jordan!
I'm so glad I found your channel Taylor. I was just getting discouraged with pursuing photography but your videos have really inspired to keep learning and creating better visuals. Thank you!
I know you're not gonna read this but, I really like the way you teach video production I feel like I am finally moving forward with my skills I was stuck in the same loop for the longest time.
Great information! Thanks for taking the time with these tutorial videos to clearly explain some of your processes and thinking behind making your films. Great job as usual!
I think it would be nice to see your workflow when it comes to timing and editing to beats of the music. Enjoying your videos! Thanks for taking time to share with us.
very detailed and well-explained sound tutorial, very useful! I had no idea of the element reverb which i can put into good use now. Thanks for this video man, please make more, they truly inspire and help a lot !
So many filmmakers cloning Taylor's and Sam's styles now. No wonder he doesn't give out a color grading tut; it's one of the few things that still keeps him unique and special.
Hi Taylor I just came over from marks channel (oh hi mark) and I had to pause ur video and comment before even finishing it I've been looking for a influencer that really gives great tips and tutorials about editing. Within the first 3min of ur video I've already taken so many notes. Thank u for taking the time tonreally break down how to create great content. Usually people hide and don't share all the details on how they create videos but that's what I loved about this video how transparent and helpful ur tips are and also how u go slow and say step by step. Also I agree with the other comments " please make a color grading videos with all the blue tones ect" Thank u again- new sub
Mate, you're such a legend for this tutorial, helped me understand your edits so much more!!! Anytime you find yourself in East Africa, I have you sorted :)
This is ultra inspirational Taylor. First video of yours that I have ever watched. Great content. Excellent suggested resources. Will keep watching these.
Thanks for another video Taylor! How are you able to choose any song from any artist you want in your videos without attracting a copyright claim? Thanks!
YO Taylor! REALLY loving these tutorial videos. A tutorial/BehindTheScenes video I'd like to see would be: Entire Desk Setup - The Mics you use for recording voice overs / How you edit the voice clean up in post. - Harddrives/Stereos - Desktop Computer & Accessories Thumbs up if you're interested in this too!
audio is a very underestimated aspect of video editing. unfortunately there is not so much content about this on youtube. So luckily i stumbeled over this video. its a great introduction for the beginning. very well explained. if you'd make more videos about this topic, also more in detail, i'd actually watch all of them, because i want to learn more about it. and of course: it's also very fun to watch your videos!! great job, taylor! Keep up with your work. i literally liked every of your videos that i watched ;-)
Love your videos, Jordan! Honestly, I would love to see your workflow while editing. Like you mentioned in this video, you have the song picked out and then you begin cutting to it, but I'd like to see it more in depth. That's one of my biggest problems with filmmaking. You have infinite possibilities and it's so hard to make something look great, at least for me it is. You could also talk more about getting your shots with your camera. I always feel sort of stressed out when I go out with my camera because I'm not really sure what I want to show.
I want to see a color grading tutorial!! I have your presets and I want to know if I can use them to color grade my videos. Thank you for all the tutorials, they really help me and I hope I can get better at this.
thank you so much taylor i got so much inspired of you, sam and niona , i started making travel videos just with my kit lens and a tripod and i am still learning ... hope one day i reach to your level.. and keep the tuts ongoing for beginners like us :)
Reall like your tutorial and all of videos were so good!! Would like see more tutorials about the very cool smooth transitions and how to put a proper sound on it.
Thank you Jordan! Great stuff as always. I would love to see some tutorials about color grading and AE effects/transitions that you put on your videos ✌️
Awesome tutorial bro! I totally agree with you about the importance of sound effects, I recently started using them and it makes such a difference !!!One more thing, could you please make a tutorial about your transitions and camera movements that you are using? I'm sure you are aware of all the videos on TH-cam of "how to edit like sam kolder, Taylor cut films etc" would be awesome if instead them trying to get all the views for these videos you'd simply do a tutorial about those transitions :) who agrees with me ? Keep it up bro! Big fan from Sydney
These are awesome. definitely part of why i became a subscriber. keep making awesome videos, and please keep doing these! they're definitely great and helpful.
Yaaaaaas Just basically every lesson i need for editing!!!! you and sam are the reason i make my own video to start this filmaking path Thx Taylorrr!!!
man! I've been loving this channel! specially the tutorials! I would love to see how you color grade some of the stuff:) cheers man! thanks for sharing
could you make an tutorial on the fake camera movements that you use...especially for your transitions? how did you do the shot in your cuba video were you filmed a dog through the sheets and then zoomed out? did you physically move backwards, use your camera zoom, digital zoom out in post or combine these techniques? thank you in advance
Hope you found this tutorial helpful! Leave a like & subscribe if you aren't already! New video every Sunday!! Comment any other topics you want me to cover! :)
