      Thanks! Our daughter was about 14 months! We had some family in town so they provided childcare for a couple of days. We stayed at the Capitan Suizo, which is in my top 10 hotels of all time: www.booking.com/hotel/cr/capitan-suizo.en-gb.html?aid=2227309

    Is it worth getting a car?

    • @viatravelers
      @viatravelers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, you’ll have to drive a lot no matter what and if you want to truly explore the country, a car is the best way to do it.

    All Good until the comments on Las Catalinas. - I think you missed the point of the town. It is a NON WALLED OFF development and on the weekends the Locals from Portrero and brasilito and surrounding areas SOUTH of Las Catalinas come to the town to enjoy time with Family. You kind of missed the point...except to say that It is still under development over time...but again NOT walled off not quarantined like a resort it is a town creating work, a location for locals and a family friendly non typical as you say costa rican locale....

      @@viatravelers I hear ya. Given that it was your next trip
      After 9 years out of Costa Rica we you might have wanted to spend a few days there. But yes. I find positive comments far better than negative ones.

      Sorry I meant which of those places would you choose to go to? I’m trying to plan a trip and unsure where to go. Arenal area, Monteverde and Guanacaste .. or maybe the arenal area and Manuel Antonio. Or all 4 lol

    • @viatravelers
      @viatravelers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kaseyh3233 I would highly recommend a combo of both Guanacaste and Arenal. Such a great way to get both a blend of beach life and the rainforest.

      @@viatravelers is the carribean and those two too much in one 2 week trip? Lol. have you been to manual Antonio? Is it very similiar to Guanacaste. Playa gemeles looks really nice (the water)

    • @viatravelers
      @viatravelers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kaseyh3233 You can definitely make both sides work in a 2 week trip! If you have two weeks, definitely try to get Manuel Antonion in your itinerary.
