Gerd what you don't know is that you're already your daughters' first love. As a daughter, I can say with confidence your father will always be your first love..but thank you for wanting to be the best father you can..just be yourself and accept and love your daughters. By being the man you are, you will set the standard so high for your daughters. Every episode makes me cry. Coming from a broken home, having a father that wasn't solid, I appreciate this family more than you guys will ever know..I didn't realize how much my heart was broken and jaded until I started watching your TH-cam channel..healing. Absolutely healing.
Warning: You might sob uncontrollably and unexpectedly during the viewing of pretty much any Claude & Co episode. I literally had to pause when the song started. I was like "Oh my gosh. I wasn’t expecting to get emotional but,at the end when Papi Lindo was singing with his daughters and granddaughters, I thought about how much I loved many moments with my grandfather Rest In Peace I miss him so much. Thank you for this episode❤️

I am literally crying my eyes out. He reminds me so much of my dad. My family came to the US when I was 12. They survived so much, but my dad never lost his smile & enthusiasm for life! Even when he was going through cancer treatments, he would try to uplift all of us & attempt make us laugh. He always found something positive in every situation. We lost him in 2016 to cancer & I would give anything just to see him again. 😞
You are so blessed to have this wonderful soul in your life. He is so full of life & light.

My dad is the same way. Nothing bothers him, he’s so care free he’s so selfless, my whole life all he’s showed me is love and care he’s my huge teddy bear the sweetest mean such a hard worker, he’s a Honduran immigrant came here when he was younger like 19, he came with his father in boats walking with no shoes, swimming, he always tells me stories he seen people die a lot of traumatizing things. He met my mom at 23 she was older 27 with 3 kids I’m her last they had me their 4th child he took in her 3 children she had before been an amazing step dad and father my whole life he got deported when I was 3 for like a year and he came back illegally because he loved me so much and couldn’t be away from me he’s been in my life my whole life until 2017 when I was 18 years old he got deported again a hard working man who hasn’t done anything bad and been the best father I felt comfortable enough to tell him anything my whole life now I have to talk to him through what’s app everyday on top of that I just had a baby and my mom just passed away I don’t have either of my parents now I wish my dad can come back and live here in the U.S but lawyers are so expensive 😢

Dang this bittersweet…reminds me so much of my dad..rip I lost him last year.. almost same story he was from Honduras and my mom from Puerto Rico.. grew up Pentecostal and my dad always record us four girls singing… even down to the Central American accent…cherish those moments especially building with the grand babies..trust me I lost my “papi lindo” and would give anything to have him back.

I have a Papi Lindo too but I didn't give him that praise, his family and any women his age or any age find him very attractive. My sister and I used to be embarrassed by it but now that we're older it's hilarious that he's a pretty boy. So many people don't know or have a Dad for numerous reasons, I'm very grateful I got a good man in the bargain as well.

I was on my way home from the airport once with my mom and the taxi driver said it’s so beautiful that you speak to your mom in English and she responds in Spanish and you understand each other perfectly. AWW this was so beautiful had me tearing up !!! Reminded me sooo much of my childhood. My father also was an immigrant who came in his late 30s and recorded EVERYTHING for us!!! And instead of singing he used to blast music and we would all dance! Love that you’re passing down these beautiful memories to your daughters ❤️❤️❤️
