Beau wants to go to college for her dorm room😂😂😂 I LOVE IT!! This entire episode was so informative! I love that even though Claude and Gerd gave their perspective, they encourage parents to do their research! Very wise and potent! Good job Claude&Co.

You are both such fantastic examples of what can be accomplished when both are motivated parents that put in the work for their children's future. Your girls have a bright future, keep it up!
This was a beautiful episode. I don't have kids yet, but I really like you & Gerd's way of thinking. School/learning does NOT have to be 8-3, Monday-Friday. I love it!!
Its interesting how they are both talking about homeschooling! Usually its just the mothers and not the fathers involved. I like how they thinking outside the box
I was homeschooled for a large portion of my life and they were the best years! This video is so sweet! To see the commitment you both have to your girls is beautiful! It reminds of my parents and how they were and still are committed to their children’s well-being
Education freedom is something many people aren’t aware of.. I’m 23, and I hope to one day homeschool my future children :) your guys’ approach is really insightful. Good job 👏🏽

I am such a a big advocate of homeschooling. I will never forget the day I met one of my friends in college. Not only was he the most brilliant person EVER, I was so jealous of how comfortable he was in his own skin. He was always a joy to be around and he couldn't care less what anyone thought of him. For someone who struggles with low self-esteem and is working with her therapist to become more assertive and unlearn so much of the garbage I learned in school because of bullying, you have no idea how I much I value his qualities. I think you're doing such a great job with your girls. I can see it just in the confidence they have to express their points of view. It's really such a beautiful thing to see. 😍🙏🏾
I was a Financial Manager at a Steiner/ Waldorf School and your way of homeschooling is basically what the Steiner curriculum is. The gentle Flow of Life instead of the Anxiety related to "Traditional School Schedules". Absolutely incredible.
I loved this episode! I definitely do agree that some children do better when they are homeschooled. Some students learn at different paces so it’s hard as a teacher to be able to cater to each individual child and their needs. My mom had to actually pull my brother out of traditional school and homeschool him for a few years because he wasn’t doing well, even when she got tutors for him. So she decided to quit her full time job as a registered nurse and went part time so that she could teach him herself because no one knows your child better than you as a parent. My mom did that until his senior year of high school and made him go back so that he could experience prom and all that senior year has to offer. If she didn’t do that, I believe he would have maybe dropped out because of the difficulty he was having. Thank you for sharing your homeschool journey with us and I can’t wait to see what a day in the life of homeschooling looks for you! 💕
God, my mind was so blown away, I just love this idea, I love the fact that is healthy, that is just nice. This is one of my favorite channels, amazing. 👏🏼
This a BEAUTIFUL video.. It brought tears to my eyes. My daughter is currently in kindergarten but during the pandemic, I had a chance to spend a year and half home with her and the report from her teacher was if I didn't tell her she NEVER attended school she wouldn't know. Education/learning starts at home. I am really enjoying the channel thank you for inviting us into your world. very refreshing❤
My husband & I took our boys out of public school when the pandemic happened, the policies they were having was way too much. They were in 6th and kindergarten. We were not sure how everything will turn out. We're from NY as well and don't know anyone else around us who homeschool, so I had to do my research. We took a leap of faith & just went for it! now we are two years in and absolutely love the freedom of it and how much we are able to learn together. I'm so grateful. Great video. God bless 🙏❤️
We do what we are taught. It takes strength and faith to do things a totally different way! It’s beautiful. Giving your children a chance to learn with life. Learning is interactive and intentional. Thank you for this video. So encouraging.
I homeschooled all four of my kids for a little over 20 years. Two of our daughters got into college on full rides. This June we will be celebrating our first college grad. Praise God!!!! She's a double major, currently 4th in her graduating class. Our second daughter will be graduating next year, she's also a double major. Our third daughter decided to take a gap year, but she's working and thriving. Our youngest is a boy (yes, we finally had the boy) he tested into high school at 13, and he wanted to attend mainstream high school. We reluctantly allowed it because we felt it was really important to him. As a Latino in a predominately all-white private school, we were a bit worried. I wish I could say his experience has been all amazing, but the reality is that within the first 3 weeks of starting school he was being bullied by an 18-year-old jock. He didn't tell us anything because he thought we would take him out of the school. Thank God, other kids reported the bullying. Needless to say, we didn't take him out of the school. We dealt with the issue and the school did as well. Apparently, the bully admitted to targeting our son because he was "too polite". Whatever his reasons were, we knew that this was an opportunity to empower our son with the tools necessary to survive in this cruel world. He has impressed us with how he handled himself. Homeschooling when done well is a blessing and an honor. I know it's a privilege not too many have, but I want to encourage those who think they don't have the resources. We did it on one income, and many prayers. We didn't take vacations every year and we didn't have all the luxuries we could have had, but the Lord always provided for everything. There were sacrifices we made, but in the end it was worth it. Do your research, do the math and go in faith. Si se puede! Thank you for sharing your story. I can't wait to see the fruits of your labor. 🙌🏼
I'm in South Africa and homeschooling is such a far concept to even incorporate in our lives. As it stands my 2 boys go to private school and I am not too sure how sustainable that will be the way things are going in this world. I really wonder if changing them to homeschooling in their high school years would be beneficial to them. I love the aspect of freedom, the unlearning of our current social constructs, the independence and the coming into your own, the out of the box approach that can be incorporated in anything they do in life makes me really happy and those are things that I hope to apply in my own children. Claude and hubby, you are phenomenal and this is the content I wish to see more of and LOVE consuming! I am so grateful for you both!
Thank you....its important for me that my kids learn their mother language Shona. Here in Zim people think knowing English is the thing.yet kids can be bilingual and nothing is wrong with that.
This video opened my eyes to the homeschooling world. I was in traditional public school and so was my fiancé, my oldest was in public school until the last year recently. We decided to homeschool. I’ve been stuck in that rut of being worried is he learning enough because he’s not “in school” from 9-4. It’s because I’m trapped in that box that I’m so used too! EYE OPENING! Thank you for sharing. This new homeschooling mama needed to hear this ♥️
We need more than once a week these episodes be so addicting when it ends I just pray the week goes by fast so another episode will come again :) and this is so great I’m thinking of homeschooling my baby boy when he’s older he’s 2 now and has ahhd and I feel like this will be the best outcome for us , many blessings for you and your family
I'm a teacher myself and I loved this episode!! Sometimes schools cannot provide for every child the way that they are supposed to. I learned so much here ! Thank you for sharing ! Watching from Ireland !
Hearing all the knowledge and passion you guys have for homeschooling you guys should open up your own school! This was amazing tho. My kids are both in public and this is making me wish we could homeschool. I struggled in a private school growing up. Had in school tutors and outside tutors. I was eventually tested and I've struggled with a learning disability my whole life. I've never used this as an excuse tho. It's so important to me to show and encourage my kids to be the best. I love your approach to homeschool tho. Truly inspiring! ❤️
Thank you for sharing this 🙏🏼♥️ it’s always encouraging to hear feedback and to see that people are willing to hear about different approaches and possibilities
Congratulations on your success! You are so blessed. I'm happy this is a topic.. As a stay at home mom of 4 we weren't able to do this. They are grown now. I would have loved it but I wasn't equipped to do so. I was overwhelmed. I didn't know how to navigate through it.. also both parents must agree and be on the same page. If I could do all over again.. I definitely would educate myself and give it a try. Im happy that you are open and sharing.. Amazing! God bless. 🤗🙏
We homeschool as well! Just started about 2 years ago, and we LOVE it! It took me a while, and I still have a ways to go, but understanding homeschooling can be liberating was a big thing for me!
I’m so grateful for you and Gerd’s insight to homeschooling. For me, it is vital my future children are bilingual in Spanish and English so they can communicate with both sides of our family. I am very open to homeschooling in the future or a dual language immersion program as a backup. I look forward to providing my children with the best education and will continue to research to find the best tools in my area. Another fantastic video Claude and Co!
This channel is so underrated! I honestly think you guys should give motivational speeches or do some sort of parenting course if you ever wanted to. Even as a teacher, this video and the video about your childhood is opening my eyes to the traditional boundaries that I place in the classroom without even realizing it. I want to try to nurture the creativity and other qualities that make each of my kids special. Love love love this content!
I love how thoughtful the wording here is, I’m only 22 and going into law school soon (hopefully). I have never thought about home schooling my future children, but the way you guys speak about it is very enlightening. I have a whole new insight on what education could look like after watching this video.
I’m here, watching this video, and being amazed with your story, your choices, and seeing how much love there’s in this family! I’m actually in tears, because it made me re-think about my own daughter’s education! Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience!
Im pretty sure I cry during every episode just based on the sincerity and love radiating from you and your family. Such a beautiful example. God bless!
The love and dedication to your children is amazing! I wish I had the resources to be able to do that for my kids one day! You partnership with Gerd is a blessing! God bless you all! And Please share more on homeschooling! Mucho love💕
Literally just bookmarked so i can send this to anyone that questions our decision to homeschool because its so well put…and I AINT GOT THE TIME!! Amazing.
I love this episode. I’m a toddler teacher and I agree with you that learning in not from 8-3. Children can learn something everyday with many different experiences. It doesn’t have to be in a classroom in a school.
This episode brought tears to my eyes. So beautiful to see parents so devoted to their childrens education. The success of your parenting/teaching is so evident in your girls; they’re so bright, articulate, confident, and well rounded. Keep it up.🤍
I Homeschooled all four of my kids in their early years. I absolutely loved it...way more than my kids. And I say that because experiencing your children light up when they learn and experience new things is priceless for a parent. Seeing confidence grow and hearing all the compliments about your children's behavior that I can take credit for fully...its was just awesome. It wasn't popular at all when I did it, so glad more parents are choosing it now. Super glad to see you all talking about it.
I love your plan. This way the girls get an honest opportunity to not just learn academically but learn about life and how to deal with obstacles if and when they appear. I recently heard a spiritual teacher saying that parents who support the cramming of school work in their children's minds takes away opportunities for the child to learn simple life's skills. He also said that not to far into the future all these degrees will become obsolete. Time will tell on that note but I think you both have chosen the path that I support wholeheartedly. Just by listening to the way the girls express themselves your would think that they attend some kind of ritzy school.
I love this video… I love that little Beau she is a little firecracker… I love how you all are taking education to the next level… I applaud all homeschooling parents and all educators…
Claude and co…20min isn’t enough! My cousin home schools her daughter, and where there is a will there is a way. My cousin is an awesome mom, wife and homeschool teacher. I think 2 episodes a week could maybeee hold me over for the next new episode…😆
Yay! I've wanted this coverage over homeschooling for so long. I know you don't have to share you're lives with us but thank you so much for sharing. This is my favorite channel. 💛
I recently dropped out of film school (only after a few days lol) because I just had a feeling that I could rather use the money to invest into music equipment and use the time to find myself). I have been thinking about what you said about the 8-3, Monday- Friday norm this past month and I feel like I'm unlearning that mindset of feeling the need to have every detail of my life planned out. so glad you started your channel Claude, I've always wanted you to start one
I have yet to come across a channel like Claude and Co. Mind blowing content, informative, full of love and substance. Amazing... Your family's amazing. You guys are doing something truly wonderful. Thank you, thank you.
I love, love, love this. I love the way you allow each of them to be their own little people and you hone in on their individual strengths. I pray to be a quarter of the parents you and Gerd are! ❤️❤️❤️
I absolutely loved this episode! I was homeschooled for most of my life and I thrived with the one-on-one learning provided by my mom who chose to quit her job and teach her kids at home. My mom used the same method as @claudeandco and I plan to do the same with my future kids!! I love the learning styles homeschool kids get when they are taught in real world situations and I will be doing that for my kids. I am glad that you and Gerd spoke about the assumptions and many questions that have been asked or said because I remember people asking and assuming that I wasn’t smart or sheltered because I was homeschooled…and constantly assuming negative things about homeschoolers. I think we need more homeschooling families to speak up to bridge the gap of traditional vs. homeschooled education. I also agree with you Claude that homeschooling is not for every family or child, but traditional schools need not only support but help when at all possible for our future generations. This is a topic I am passionate about but just wanted to share in agreement. Love that you guys are a team and it really shows in your kids, they are growing beautifully and thriving in the best way. God bless your beautiful family!💜🙏🏽😘
I absolutely love love love (Adrienne’s voice) this episode. It’s been on my mind a lot with my 6 yr old daughter who is in traditional school and turning the corner to possibly homeschooling. I have a 2 yr old son who I think his future education a lot. Thank you guys for the conversation and the open mindedness of what it can be!
Wow! That part about giving the children agency. That is soooo key!! Unfortunately we don’t talk about that enough; allowing the kids to shape their own identity. I love it!
So looking forward too your videos. You all have so much to give and share -- can't wait for the next episodes. Claude and hubby, thank you for your willingness to be extremely honest and opening the door too additional conversation about preparing your children for "life." I am so in love with your intentions for your children and your various methodology of how to make them successful. I love to see parents that are highly motivated, engaged, educated, and empowered. Thank you all.
I’m married & writing my dissertation- I’m in education. I work in education & I’m seriously considering homeschooling my future children. I’m all here for this lifestyle in the next few years.
Honestly, your parenting and mentorship shows deeply through the way both girls express themselves. Jet sounds so grown you wouldn’t even think she’s 10! Wow! You and Gerd should he so proud of the hard work you have put into your girls education. It’s admirable and so phenomenal. Great job!!!!
NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE...I TRULY LOVE THIS EPISODE. I ATTENDED PUBLIC SCHOOL IN NYC AND BELIEVE ME IT WAS ZERO SOCIALIZATION, IF ANYTHING I WAS TRAUMATIZED
Thank you for this!! After having my baby boy I started thinking about his academic future and I wanted a school that would adapt to our Waldorf inspired lifestyle. Private schools are so expensive, after my spouse and I talked about it, homeschooling seemed like the most natural way to teach our kids. Can’t wait to start the journey!!
Claude please be my big sister, I feel so understood because my daughter is only 10months and I’ve decided that I want to homeschool because I feel like it would be so beneficial for my kids to learn at home and also we get to be with her parents and family most. I feel so inspired🥰😍
This really opened my eyes on the topic of homeschooling. I don’t have children and I’ve never known much about homeschooling but you guys have such a great home school dynamic. I’m glad Jet and Beau are fortunate enough to experience this. Really amazing.
"and they all do it differently...and they all do it on different budgets"; absolutely love this perspective - thank you for encouraging us to be curious, to question, to unlearn / decondition in order to open our hearts and minds to alternative ways of living and loving. I am a teacher of ten years and have been at home for the last three years with my twins, unlearning, unschooling myself and exploring / practising self-directed learning with the children. It has revolutionized my entire being and it is absolutely mind blowing watching these tiny people's curiosity and determination and just their natural propensity for learning! This video has made me excited about continuing on our journey! Thank you for addressing the socialization question, I get that one a lot! x
I’m not even a parent and yet you guys got me mind blown! So much gems in this video. Thank you so much for sharing! I felt so enlightened! And looking forward to when me and my fiancé want to start a family.
Wow! I thoroughly enjoyed that episode. I never thought homeschool education could include wilderness training, yoga and tennis. But why not?! Loved this.
Whew! This was SO informative. I enjoyed hearing your family’s experience with homeschooling and hearing the girls speak about their homeschooling experience was so nice. I love this channel! I’m excited for more content.
Love this take on schooling. You know your children better than anyone and the first few years are super important. They can go to public or private school once you know they are able to tell others who they are without being persuaded.
So, I've always had ways in which I wanted to raise my child or children. What I wanted them to learn, the skills I wanted them to have and just to prepare them to be a citizen of the world, but I did not think of homeschooling, just because of the preconceptions. Now I understand the dynamics of it, I am 100% sure that's the way I want them to be educated.
I wish you would post more often! I love this content and your family is beautiful. Obviously you all are excelling in homeschool because your girls seem so well rounded and well spoken.
I love this .. we looked at homeschooling too but for various reasons decided it was not the right time. When you actually look into it there are so many assumptions that are debunked. I feel homeschooled children have much more than traditional schooled children . Well done guys.. a week in the life would be great !!
I wish I can like this as many times as my finger can keep up. This is not even a joke. I am glad you started this channel sooo much. Thank you Claude and Co.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with homeschooling. I will definitely look into this for my own kids when the time comes. I am also loving the channel so far. Your energy exudes through these videos. Love you guys.
Thank you for sharing! It’s nice to hear that homeschooling works for your kids and your family as a whole. True, it’s a privilege to be able to homeschool at a high level where parents and kids can thrive. I was a product of the K-12 public school system and I would not change it for the world. I loved it! I think public schools have a negative stigma to them simply because certain people had a bad experience. I think traditional schooling is like home schooling…you need to do your research and ask a ton of questions. There are plenty of public schools in the US that allow kids to soar academically and socially and you don’t have to pay tuition like a private school. I was lucky enough to go to great public elementary, junior high, and high school in Southern California. My parents came from a different country so they didn’t have the money to pay for private schools but made sure we lived in an area that provided great public schooling. My parents did pay for extracurricular activities that I enjoyed and thrived in. My kids (4 yr old son & almost 2 yr old daughter) will also be attending great public schools that we have researched when the time comes for them to attend. My son currently attends a Montessori preschool and loves it!🙂
Trulyy love this video and how you guys clarified some misconceptions. I would appreciate if you guys did a day in the life homeschooling, maybe what curriculum you guys follow if the girls were to transition to traditional schooling, what activities the girls are in, etc. thank you so much!!
My daughter has been in a public school since kindergarten, she’s now about to enter 3rd grade. I regret not homeschooling. Unfortunately both my husband and I have to work. But Everything you guys talked about is so amazing and I hope more parents can do this. I’ve also worked in public schools for years, and unfortunately year after year I feel like public schools are just falling so far behind.
I loveeeee how you ended this episode with supporting public schools. My daughter is currently in a Montessori public magnet School (prek) and I love so much of their style and what they do whether in the class, outdoors, in nature, etc
We started secular homeschooling during the pandemic. I've been so hard on myself (and my son) so I've had to come to terms with easing up on that. The socialization has been hardest bc of covid and the fact that he's an only child. We are working on it. Idk why I was surprised your kids are homeschooled bc it totally goes with your easy, zen vibe. Thanks for this! Your girls are amazing
Wow this video was a confirmation from God. My 4 year old is behind in his speech and a lot of other things and next year he’s supposed to be in kindergarten which I don’t think he’s ready for. I have been debating and researching abt home schooling cuz I noticed he responds to me better den his teacher and speech therapist. I admire what you both do and great job!! You should be proud of your selves for raising smart beautiful girls. Thank you so much for all of the information you provided! I didn’t think abt budgeting for homes schooling! Thanks again! God bless!!
This is my favorite TH-cam channel for so many reasons -- not least of which being that I can see my partner and I in your story. We are just at the beginning of our lives together, and each episode gives us a template of sorts, honestly. I feel such peace of mind when I hear you speak about pretty much anything. May God continue to bless you Claude & Co. Love 💕

Traditional school is so scary now!! It was so fun, safe, good, hard ,awkward etc in the 70s -90 s!! Home schooling is the way to go!!
This is Godly timing, I’m at across roads for my daughter’s next phase of education. Thank you so much for sharing you story 👏🏾🙏🏿🔥

This is incredible information to know before having kids. You can see that homeschooling has been great for Jet and Beau. They are so smart.

What an amazing note and report!
I am not a parent yet. This gave me a completely new and different perspective. I love it!❤
I'm in South Africa and homeschooling is such a far concept to even incorporate in our lives.
Imagine Claudette reading a book to u, her voice is so soothing!! Gotta tell my little cousins to join the girls roblox game👏🏾
🥲♥️ thank you for those encouraging words. And blessings on blessings on your journey ♥️
It's like you knew how much I've always wanted to know more about you Claud. This is already my favourite channel.
I'm not a parent, but I found this video incredibly informative. You dispelled a lot of myths. great job!
Amazing! God bless. 🤗🙏
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing this.
I dont know if i gave seen anything i am so excited about!! 😳😳. Claudia! Geriad! I am speechless!
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️💪🏾
God bless!
YES please show us a day in the life of homeschooling
The love and dedication to your children is amazing! I wish I had the resources to be able to do that for my kids one day! You partnership with Gerd is a blessing! God bless you all! And Please share more on homeschooling! Mucho love💕
Literally just bookmarked so i can send this to anyone that questions our decision to homeschool because its so well put…and I AINT GOT THE TIME!! Amazing.
Please do share!!
I love this episode. I’m a toddler teacher and I agree with you that learning in not from 8-3. Children can learn something everyday with many different experiences. It doesn’t have to be in a classroom in a school.
It is quite obvious that Claude and Gerd have done an outstanding job with their girls.
This episode brought tears to my eyes. So beautiful to see parents so devoted to their childrens education. The success of your parenting/teaching is so evident in your girls; they’re so bright, articulate, confident, and well rounded. Keep it up.🤍
I give so much respect for homeschooling parent. Along with work and teaching and being a parent. Thank you for sharing this
I Homeschooled all four of my kids in their early years.
hands down the best TH-cam channel! im inspired, thank you for choosing to share your life with us its a true blessing.
You’ve inspired me.. when I have children, they’ll be part of your future curriculum.
Thank you!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Praise to the both of you, clearly very good parents!!🙌
NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE...I TRULY LOVE THIS EPISODE. I ATTENDED PUBLIC SCHOOL IN NYC AND BELIEVE ME IT WAS ZERO SOCIALIZATION, IF ANYTHING I WAS TRAUMATIZED
That clip at the beginning w both of them. ABSOLUTELY STOPPPP! HEART MELTING 🥺❤️
My son is 6 months old and I definitely can’t wait to start planning his homeschooling journey.
You two are prime examples of open minded, forward thinking,,lovable parents. ❤️💙
Thank you 💗 When I want to explain our homeschooling journey I'm just going to forward your video from now on, all answers are here!
Loved this.
Thanks for sharing this! Eye-opening and stands very true that education is everywhere. 💛💛💛
The both of you make a wonderful team. We can see how much respect you have for each other. You have a very blessed family. I love your videos.
Awwwww the babies speaking Spanish madeee my day🥺🥺🥺🥺
I love this! I’m going to take action with putting together a spreadsheet tonight!
I wish I can like this as many times as my finger can keep up. This is not even a joke. I am glad you started this channel sooo much. Thank you Claude and Co.
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️
Love how you break down parts of your life and make it so personal.
My son is currently 3 and we want to homeschool. Thank you for making this video!!
Fellow homeschooler here! I Loved this video so much! I loved your views on homeschool and how open you are. ❤️
Love 💕
