If ratings were enabled for this video, there shouldn't be a single "dislike" for it. Love this band. Way too underrated, and Corabi deserves way more respect than he gets.
@David Williams totally agree! Been friends with John Corabi on FB for almost 12 years. He is the most humble person I’ve EVER had the pleasure to get to know. He has a book coming out in June “Horseshoes and Hand Grandes”! It’s gonna be a great read, you should check into buying it.
(shakes head in disbelief) why oh why, didn't the crue stick with John? I like Vince Neil, shit, That was the crue i grew up with, but i remember back in 1994 when first got that album with john singing, it was like a kick in the teeth, but alas, it seems record company politics won. I sometimes think i wished they had called themselves something else, it would have at least allowed them to tour every now and again when they felt like it. John corabi is fuckin genius!!!!
Oceaneye Photography I hate that now you have to search over land and sea to find cds like this that one or like the place that is in my town that specializes in old school metal bands cds which I definitely need to replace many of them
Motley Crue literally drug this guy down to their level. This dude is an extraordinarily talented singer. And, the guitar tones are spectacular, as well (thank you Andy Johns). So, far as I can tell, the song-writing isn't real melodic (something I personally prefer), it's just straight bluesy rock-n-roll. But, it's done so incredibly well, that it still passes. And, yes, very "Aerosmith". I hate it that I'm just discovering these guys. Don't know how John Corabi was back then, but every interview I've seen of his as of late, he's the kind of guy you want as a neighbor.
Great Song! However... John Corabi may be credited on this song but it was written by Jamie Brown (Roxanne) & Bruce Bouillet, long before Corabi joined "Saints Or Sinners" which became "The Scream". I still have the "Racer X" Demo tape with "Man In The Moon" and "I Don't Care" + many other great songs written by Jamie Brown, he could always write some catchy songs. I did get to see them (Jamie Brown, Juan Alderete, Bruce Bouillet, and Scott Travis) play together when they were still "Racer X" just before Jamie left and Scott left to play for "Judas Priest"!
Jamie Brown & his band "Roxanne" recently released a new album "radio silence" after a 30 year hiatus with this track on it. I much prefer Brown's vocals. Album is definitely worth a listen , Dug Pinnick , George Lynch and Ray Luzier are on a few of the tracks.
Thanks for posting this video.Went on to Amazon a couple of weeks ago after watching video and bought cd.Great song and album. Thanks again down2whiskey
you know people are what they are.and a band is a group.of these same people.songs are wrote .as a group or one but John corabi's voice.in all of the bands.ive heard him in.its bad f###ing ass .my hats .off to john.some blues metal would be freaking killer john.took 20 years to finally hear the screams music.awesome.thanks Richie/indio.ca.
I remember this tune on 95.7,charlotte n.c. only true rock station, kid ego extreme, 4 hoursemen, tired wings,my rockand roll roots 15, just starting to play guitar
@tarison13 I can hear that in this song for sure. There are other songs he sang with Motley Crue that I thought he sounded like Chris Cornell a bit. Great vocals!!!
Not sure I agree that he wasn't right for the Crue. I'd say for the period in time he was excellent. The Corabi Crue CD is one of their best efforts. Maybe they should have chosen a different name for the band but that is a solid album. I was a die hard crue fan and I think it's one of the best.
Yeah they definitely have a more organic vibe than a lot of the other bands of the genre at the time- maybe they'd have survived the grunge wave. Or too bad it didn't work out with the Crue because I definitely prefer the self titled album to anything since or even probably anything other than the 1st two.
I agree...the Crüe screwed up both themselves, and The Scream. Fuckin could have been an awesome band....and Corabi would have been really appreciated for what he is worth....not fucked around with by Nikki & Tommy
RotnRoll77 to possibly answer your question an Ampeg SVT 300 with an 8 10 inch J.B.Lancing Flat wound coil transducers or speackers .and split humbucker style pickup any old fender persision bass shoould do. maybe a 31 band octave filter to color to taste. hauler if you have any questions. I love talking gear stuff .have a good one !
It's been said Vince Neil can't sing. Well neither can this dude and this kind of music is dead and thank God it's so disingenuous. This guy thinks he's Robert Plant.
Corabi is THE Best singer of the 90's. This group should have been HUGE.

Agree
Stefano Tallarico-like singing.
Love Raiders(most Am. football merchandise ever sold here along with Steelers) and Dino Crocetti/Dean Martin from Abruzzo.
Very underrated band, Craby is still one of the best songwriters/singers still today

Great Song........................or ditto.
This is a great song, better than 99.9% of the kraptonite out there.
tomorrow live in pisa fuck yeah !
Any idea how I'd get a bass tone like that? Damn, that's heavy.

This version is faded way to soon. The solo is bad ass. Too bad it was chopped!
It's a fuckin travesty this band or Motley Crue with John never went onto better things, There are some deaf people out there that's all I can say!!
Craig Smith he was badass in Union with Bruce Kulick too.

Corabi is like the san diego La chargers , so good but no super bowl rings , bad luck excellent singer
To bad they shorted the song in this vid, left of a whole minute on the end :o(
@SpectorRay1 better than most, actually. the crüe effed up Scream. they coulda been a contenda.
crue 94 brought me here.
Motley Crue should have kept Corabi
needs more cowbell
His songs are just stock....Needs better song for an amazing artist.
It's been said Vince Neil can't sing. Well neither can this dude and this kind of music is dead and thank God it's so disingenuous. This guy thinks he's Robert Plant.
