    How much intent needs to be done when having a knowledge base slack or for employees. Do I live in a dreamworld that I can connect a knowledge base or wiki and it is able to help answer employees without all these customization intents?

      Yes certainly! I don't quite get your first question, but yes we do certainly live in a world where agents can use a knowledgebase to answer a wide range of questions!

    so what's voiceflow got that dify or autogen studio or flowise doesn't? what is it better at, what is it worse at?

    • @ColeMedin
      @ColeMedin  17 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      The main advantage of Voiceflow that I love is it's focus on intents and making the agents understand which actions to take through all the customization there. Other platforms like Dify and Autogen have more integrations so I'd give that to them if you're looking for pros and cons! Though I like using APIs to integrate with services through N8N myself.

    I dont do platforms. If I cant run it locally it may as well not exist.

      You can run n8n locally and for free … not sure about the other tools like voiceflow, but I don’t miss a thing with n8n anyways

      That's totally fair! And I definitely expect that for a lot of people who are looking for self-hosting and full control. There are certainly a good number of people though that benefit from having more out of the box and set up for them too!

      Then you can use langflow

    • @ColeMedin
      @ColeMedin  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah Langflow is good for sure! But I've heard from a lot of people it isn't "production ready" and more for POCs since it doesn't have the best error monitoring and logging.

    Leaving a comment to support a great channel, but also to express a doubt, isn't Voiceflow supposed to have all API connectors on its side without the need for any other side tool like N8N? That's something you kinda expect after N8N (which is also free unlike Voiceflow). I agree about the feeling that "intents" are a step in the right direction though. It's exciting to see where the industry is moving.

      Thanks man, I appreciate your comment! So theoretically you could connect Voiceflow directly to other services like Slack through their API node. But then you have to manage credentials and API parameters yourself which N8N and similar tools do for you which is why I think it's highly beneficial to use Voiceflow and N8N together.
      Basically Voiceflow is better at creating agents out of the box because of intents, the knowledgebase, and other features, and then N8N is better at connecting to other services. Which makes this combination awesome. I hope that makes sense!

    Why do you name your voiceflow workflow „n8n“? 😅

      I had to think of something quick and that's the integration I was doing 😂

    Hi Cole. Whats the best way to contact you. I asked a q on ottodev on 2 of your other videos with no response.
    I want to support your great work but cannot until i can get it working.
    Understand you are busy, so please let us know what way works for you.

      @@ColeMedin 100% understand and appreciate you replying.
      1. I'm not getting any previews. I tried your exact prompt 'to build a to do app'. I used a Haiku 3.5 (after updating your code). Do I need to install any libraries e.g. React and Tailwind to get previews?
      2. Do you know what if any other tech stacks except for React/Tailwind CSS can Ottodev generate previews?
      Seems like everyone are using the exact same tech stacks. I know you're more creative than that :)
      [I'd personally love to see local desktop GUIs like Pyqt].

    • @ColeMedin
      @ColeMedin  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Right now only the Node environment and stacks within that are supported through the Bolt webcontainers! But it would be sweet to add in more environments like Python.
      As far as not seeing previews, sometimes LLMs hallucinate and give the wrong commands which prevent the previews from starting, probably what is happening here!
