for my clownfish I take a beaker and mix frozen brine, phytoplankton, zooplankton, bloodworms, mysis shrimp and pour it in my .5ml cube tray, they get 1-3 .5ml cubes a day plus occasional flake an alage. (some of the foods in the cubes I make are also for corals and clean up crew)
I just got a pair of clowns from the fish shop and they told me to feed them three times a week.... I'm going to take your advice and start feeding them more lol.
Try vibrabites all fish go crazy for them they look like and sink like worms. I really wish that would become the standard shape for all fish pellets. Makes feeding so much easier.
So quick question..Whenever i feed anything besides pellets I get algeas ,green most of the time..Anyone els have this issue ? If so what's your way of preventing the algea while feeding shrimp and mysis.. Do u just go back to the basics ,check your water chemistry,water changes...?
It might be too much or to long time of lighting. I once forgot to turn off the light and went to bed. And soon after, I had an algae bloom. I learned my lesson and plugged the lighting on a timer.
I have a pair of clownfish and i feed them pellets and frozenfood but they seem not to like it. They just ignore the food im giving them so the food will just keep on floating in the water. Im worried they might get hungry and die please help
@CR7-GoatEffect Sometimes it takes them a few days to eat if you just got them. They have to get familiar with the environment. They could still be shocked/scared.

My clownfish are still kinda baby and the pellet i give them they only get near them but wont eat it please help
For me as a breeder I feed 3 times a day and I feed alit of frozen food and TDO !

My clownfish, female about 3 and a half inches, refuses pellet food or flakes. Only goes for Myses shrimp. Is it ok to feed brine and myses only?

Feed spirulina brine shrimp. That way it gets veg protein and meat protein. That’s basically all I feed all my fish. Fresh or salt water.
