    It's at the top of my list for sure. I prioritize tech and design over perceived "reliability". My mom bought an 09 traverse new in 09 and owned it until 2019. It gave her 0 issues. It was an lt model that was driven several times from Tennessee to Wisconsin on family trips, so speaking from my experience it wasn't problematic.

      @aaric1703 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@dtay8913 Infantile, unwarranted, sarcasm aside you stated "perceived reliability" to imply that Toyota's reliability is questionable. Given the fact that the current value of a 2009 Chevy Transverse is $5300, and a 2009 Toyota Highlander is $10,000, I beg to differ with your opinion.

    • @dtay8913
      @dtay8913 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@aaric1703 I didn't expect you to that's not an issue. The reason I say "perceived" is because I can only speak from my own experiences. Nissans generally are perceived to be a more reliable car brand but from my experience, a 2007 rogue owned by my aunt had its engine go out after 5 years whereas the fusion we bought her as a replacement is still functioning fine. As far as resale value goes, I fail to see what that has to do with reliability. A Jeep Wrangler keeps its resale value but you don't typically find people saying that SUV is at the apex of reliability.

      Cuz GM is trying to be unique and “special” with their super cruise… it’s annoying they can’t make it a standard offering… they want to put it behind a paywall.. only free for 3 years. So dumb.

    If only they could pop a V8 in it, or even a turbo 6. I’m waiting for a mid size crossover to use a powerful V8 or turbo 6 that isn’t $60 - 70K. A turbo 6 or V8, 4WD system with an 2 speed transfer case, elsd, air suspension or adaptive magnaride, and towing package. Those are the features I’d like to see on a midsize suv, but so far only the Grand Cherokee L offers them.

      GM isn't ever going to put a V8 in a FWD based AWD SUV. The only GM brand that has access to a a turbo 6 is Cadillac and they don't share it with any other brands I believe.

      Sorry @Cleaning_Hero I don't see your desires coming true soon, despite me agreeing with you. The Grand Cherokee L isn't even shipping with the e-diff anymore, they can only be spec'd on the Summit trim and then Stellantis automatically credits you $400 for deleting the eLSD and using the mechanical LSD - has to be a parts shortage thing... but what you're looking for isn't being made as far as I can tell. You could hunt around for a used well-optioned Lexus GX460 to get the most for your money but with ancient infotainment.

      We bought a 2023 in early 23 because we needed a replacement for our POS 2013 Honda Odyssey and frankly inventory was thin all around and we couldn't wait. It's a Premier redline edition. So far with 23k miles its been fantastic. LOTS of room, great ride, and it scoots. You can probably get a real good deal on any 23's left.
