Mikel Arteta says his Arsenal side have to be in the conversation to sign PSG forward Kylian Mbappe this summer - but hinted that the Frenchman is likely to join Real Madrid.
Mbappe told PSG this week that he will leave the club at the end of this season, with the French club expecting the forward to join Real once the terms of his exit are finalised.
The 25-year-old forward has also been linked to the Premier League and Arteta says Arsenal need to be involved in discussions to sign the player.

ManCity turned their academy into a new LaMasia, creating very technical ballers playing Spanish style of football. Arsenal’s youngsters are still very direct, not tekky enough.
Haaland has made ManCity worse, they are less tiki taka capable now, but they are still way better than anyone in the league.

Gabriel: play to the whistle, when you are pushed, get up and keep playing, dont wait for a foul. Score more
Kiwior: be composed when you get into the box, you can score. Create fear in the winger, dont be soft.
Rice: shoot more. those runs into the opponent half, do it more and give a forward pass to the strikers.
Odegaard: look for more of those killer passes inside the box to our strikers. shoot unexpectedly more.
Havertz:run with the ball more into the box, you know how to create space, then shoot more
Saka:get central more if you can, you will score more or get more penalties
Trossard:shoot more.
Martinelli:avoid playing that back pass to Rice, just run and get into the box, you are more dangerous there.
ARTETA:play your strongest team, make sure we win , whatever the situation. We have 95min to score goals, those are 95goals, if its hard we can do half 40, if not 40 we can score 20, if we are unable, we can score 10. that is 1 goal every 10min, surely we can do this. Be ruthless, don't defend two goals, we want more goals. more goals kill the spirit of the opponent, so score more, dont give them room to recover.

My point is that is a huge amount onto your wage bill that can come back to bite you in the ass later if 1. the player doesn't perform to high levels (not saying Mbappe won't perform) 2. Injuries and you just paying and paying the player and 3. Could mess up your whole FFP plans.. Especially when your other players who might perform well or even better start knocking for more money because you have set a precedent.
